Hall looks a player, low quality opposition obviously but good to see him taking his chance

I have. Saul against villa. I was all for giving him his chance but he's not the player he was, stick chalobah in midfield and get Silva on, we need some leadership and composure

Welcome To Chelsea Thiago Silva *Official*
I got bored the other evening a made a phone wallpaper of the legend Silva, thought I’d share in case anyone would also like to use it 😊

Anybody got a second team you support not in a top division?
Grim place though, last time I was there it reminded me of a strange planet from Star Wars 😂

Brentford v Chelsea (PL) Sat 16th Oct KO 17:30 BST
If we think this is bad wait til next season when the world cup takes place in the middle of the f**king season. May as well play 2 mini seasons for the amount of injured/ fatigued players coming back that the first half of the season will be a completely different story to the second half. I hate international football (being an Ireland supporter does not help the cause either)

Chelsea v Southampton (PL) Sat 2nd Oct KO 15:00 BST
Thought Ruben was excellent today, so positive and so good at retaining possession with his physicality, along with being so silky on the ball, can see him playing a big role for us this season. I thought CHO looked good as well despite a few things not coming off for him, definitely much better as one of the front 3. Lukaku wasnt given many chances but did his job, and Timo was MOTM, should have had 2 goals but ran his arse off and came up with the goods. Definitely should cement his starting place, we look so much better with his dynamism despite him not being a perfect player.

Tuchel on Reece James selection for england: 'I thought maybe he'd be playing for the water polo team because he's training in the pool, i was surprised to learn it was the football team' Howling 😂

Welcome Ross Barkley
I think it was more of a message to the players that if they're not performing they're not safe from being dropped. Can't see Tuchel trying to get sacked after 2 poor performances
-
Kai Havertz
Lampard was tactically inept though, as much as I love him. Werner plays on the wing for us when he plays most of the time, not all wingers have to play hugging the touchline, narrow wingers and overlapping fullbacks are how Liverpool play and they're a bit more exciting to watch than us.

Stop being sensible. This is a place reserved for knee-jerk reactions and doom-mongering only.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
He's a top quality footballer, his football brain makes up for his lack of physical attributes and he seems like a proper leader. Agree he's not Balon D'or material or anything like that but we're lucky to have him, i just wish he's try a few long through balls now and again, he showed he has it in his locker in his first season here but like everyone else lately he's become a bit risk-averse in his passing.

Timo Werner
Would like to see Timo start on the right on saturday with CHO or Kai on the left, for all his bottling of chances he offers something nobody else does which is pace and direct running. We've all had enough of the backwards passing, i'd rather see Timo make 10 attempted dribbles forward and complete none than see the ball go from Ziyech to Alonso to Ziyech to Jorginho to Rudiger to Mendy.

Kai Havertz
I feel like Kai is an interesting one because he's clearly a very talented footballer, but my question is where should he be playing? At Leverkusen he was a roaming 10, reminds me a bit of Juan Mata in his time for us, but we can't really accommodate that type of player in the system we are playing at the moment. I want him to succeed here and I think he can, but at the minute his attributes are not effective for us, which leaves us with a dilemma. Personally I would love to see us go back to a 4-2-3-1 with Kai playing No. 10 and Werner and Mount either side of him, but TT clearly doesnt think our defenders are up to playing in a back 4, which is understandable.

Do you actually support Chelsea or would you follow any team where pulisic plays?

Juventus v Chelsea (CL) Wed 29th Sep KO 20:00 BST
Hmm, probably the worst performance I’ve seen from us under Tuchel in a big game. Expecting wholesale changes at the weekend, don’t think TT will let the players away with this one. No need to be panicking though, every team has these blips, if Liverpool beat city at the weekend will everyone be calling Pep a fraud? 2 losses in a row isn’t ideal but hopefully it sticks a rocket up our arse

Juventus v Chelsea (CL) Wed 29th Sep KO 20:00 BST
Half time desperately needed. How can players like this show up and put in 20% effort in a European game against a big team? I’d get RLC and Chilly on, Alonso looks lethargic and we need RLC’s ability to run with the ball instead of passing sideways.

Juventus v Chelsea (CL) Wed 29th Sep KO 20:00 BST
We really need to figure out how to break down teams who play with 10 men behind the ball, and I’m not sure passing it from Alonso to rudiger to Alonso to Ziyech to kovacic to Silva to mendy is the answer
-
Conor Gallagher
I actually think he fills the role of what we are missing at the moment with Mount out injured, that perfect link player between the deep midfield and the forward line, could definitely see him doing very well in the Kovacic role or even a similar position to mount as the link player. Also he's doing bits in my FPL team so i love him even more

Chelsea v Aston Villa (LC) Wed 22nd Sep KO 19:45 BST
Just gonna run through the player ratings in my mind Kepa - 9/10 - Looks like a new man, looked confident and is an excellent penalty stopper, 100% is the best backup goalkeeper in the league, having Mendy and this reinvigorated Kepa reminds me of when we had Cech and Carlo. James - 7/10 - Probably a bit harsh since he did very little wrong and assisted the goal with that peach of a cross, but for me he's so much better bombing down the wing as a proper wingback than filling the Dave position Chalobah - 7.5/10 - thought he was excellent for most of the game, put in some great tackles and covered well, positioning needs a bit of work as is to be expected and was caught out a little for the goal. Looks a real prospect for us though, excited about him Sarr - 5/10 - First game for us, young player looking a bit fresh and raw but he had a few good moments, did a bit of a Rudiger-esque run which was great, but again positioning and composure need some work. Undecided CHO - 4/10 - Going nowhere fast in my mind, looked lazy as he so often does. I sometimes wonder what happens to these supposed tricky wingers we have who forget how to beat a man or do anything productive. Yes he's not a RWB, but he really needs to make more of a case otherwise I can foresee a conscription into the loan army, then moving to Bayern and scoring 30 goals a season like Gnabry while we all scratch our heads and wonder what happened. Chilly - 6/10 - Rusty. Don't need to criticize him too much because he's definitely needing some time to get back into the rhythm and we know he's quality. Alonso will definitely keep his spot for a while yet though I think RLC - 7.5/10 - Looked good, so silky on the ball and actually beating his man, CHO needs to take notes. Probably not cut out for a defensive midfield role, though, but whenever he got the ball he looked positive Kante - Kante/10 - Was Kante. Saul - 5/10 - Instead of stinking out the house like his last outing against villa this was more of a 'light a candle and spray an air freshener' performance. Still pretty sh*t, but he's not the first player to struggle with the pace of english games. Put in a few nice challenges and got forward well enough, was just a bit complacent on the ball again. Time will tell. Ziyech - 5.5/10 - Such an enigma, on one hand he has a bit of the Callums about him where he doesnt look arsed, but on the other hand he can do something out of nowhere. His deliveries into the the box have been garbage lately despite him being renowned for his passing, crossing and line breaking passes, maybe just out of form and lacking game time, I really thought he'd light up the place for us Werner - 7.5/10 - Got his goal and ran his arse off, definitely should have had a second though. Movement is great, it's just his finishing that still needs a lot of work Subs Mount - 8/10 - Really gave us a lot more when he came on, had one or two games off the pace but he looks like that's over and done with Rom - 8/10 - Battered the Villa defence around, reckon if he'd started he would have gotten a couple of goals I may have missed another sub but i only remember the two of them edit** - forgot Barkley - 7/10 - decent cameo, not getting anywhere near the first team any time soon though, and a nice pen

Spuds v Chelsea (PL) Sun 19th Sep KO 16:30 BST
Spurs have some serious concerns at centre back at the moment which we should be looking to exploit, can't see any of their currently available defenders being able to deal with Lukaku, so in my mind we should be slight favourites for this but as always it will be a difficult game, however I think we should line up to go at them and attack. Alonso has an immense record against spurs so i'd give him the start here. Would be tempted to give Werner a look in as well but for me Kai just gets the nod Mendy Dave - Silva. - Rudiger James - Kova - Jorginho Alonso Havertz - Mount Big Rom

Mateo Kovačić
Another sensational display from Kovacic tonight, man of the match for me despite Lukaku’s goal. Against lesser teams his ability to drive us forward is immense and with Kante picking up a few more injuries this days it’s so good to be able to rely on him.
