I'm not ignoring it. You are ignoring the fact that Mount has done more and is better than Baker. If you have the talent then you deserve the opportunity. Not all players need to jump over loan hurdles, when they already have the necessary talent. We could have Messi in our academy and people would want him out on loan.

So you agree that he is one of the best players in the world for his age then since you can only name 5 players that are better. Mbappe obviously is the best of all the players mentioned including Mount. I disagree that CHO, Sancho and Arp are better than Mount but they are very good and in time could be better. Yes you are right everyone did and Mount won player of the year in the academy that won everything. Well they are saying he is better than Piazon, Traore and Baker. And it doesn't take a genius to work out Mount is better than those 3. So you don't think our youth players that are elite players for their age deserve the chance to play in our first team?

Mount is one of the best players in the world for his age. He won everything with the Chelsea academy. He won the Euros with the England and got the player of the tournament. He got player of the year at Vitesse and their fans and players say he is the best loanee they have had from us by far. He has clubs queuing up to take him either on loan or permanently. Southgate mentioned him in the press conference and said they are closely monitoring him. You post like he is bang average. If anything being at Chelsea is a hindrance for him because of the lack of respect we show our youth players by never actually bothering to play any of them in the first team, no matter how good they are.

Mount has gone completely under the radar. Of all of the young English players that are 20 and under he might be the best.

Well if you have seen him play he is too good for the Dutch league. He was also the best player in the under 19 euros last year. He is a pronominal talent.

It's not like we have lots of players in midfield/attacking midfield to choose from is it? Our squad for the world cup looks very weak on paper.

Why buy the likes of Morata and Cesc when we can just pluck the likes of Mount CHO out of our academy in the first place.

England has all the best young talent in the world. Last summer and winter we won almost everything. Only the u17's lost the final of the euros but then won the world cup. Most of the squads contain lots of our youth players that win everything with England and Chelsea. There is no reason that more of our youth players have not broken through or been given a lot more opportunities. I fully expect a lot of clubs from abroad to take a lot of young English players in the up coming years.

Personally I would have taken him to the world cup. No other English player has as many attributes or flexibility that he does. He is over looked and never even mentioned for some reason.

We have the worlds best academy. They win everything for Chelsea. They win everything for England. It's about time they actually play. We have missed out on the champions league without playing them and buying players in 2 of the last 3 seasons. I'd rather play them then reap the rewards of them in their primes in 3-4 years. I'd hate to feel like City losing Sancho.

Mount, Hudson-Odoi and Mceachran all look like they will be elite world class players. We have to play them.

Who ever it is has to start playing the academy players. Mount, Hudson-Odoi, Mceachran, DaSilva and Sterling are all good enough to step up.
