He’s a serious player, I’d argue a bargain at 50m considering his skill set, just such a pain he’s the most injury prone player I’ve ever seen.

Can’t say he’s underrated because of his price tag , but I feel a lot of media and fans are maybe a bit over critical of him. Easily in our top 4/5 performers this season.

Good win and good performance even if it was against a hungover Liverpool. Putting together a decent run of form the last while , hopefully drive it home now. 2 more wins in the league and win the conference league and it’s not a bad season at all.

We did alright today ! Palmer wasn’t bad either

Huge opportunity now with Newcastle dropping points and Liverpool resting players. Hopeful that the team will come out fighting.

Great chance to pick up an unexpected 3 points. Really need a minimum of a draw out of this.

I think he’s ok. Football has been dull since Christmas but was great before that. Stating the obvious but a lot will boil down to this last month of the season. If we win the conference league and come 4th/5th , I would be fully behind giving him another season.

Must win game but not feeling confident at all. The reverse fixture is where it started to go wrong maybe it’ll flip this time.

He’s a dud. He’s shown a few flashes of his talent in almost two seasons but he’s not arsed. It’s literally like playing with 10 men.

Will be another egg on the face of the owners/sporting directors if he’s sacked. A 5th permanent manager in just under three years is Watford esque , not even Abramovich went through that many. There is also zero chance they pick Ancelloti.

Fairly sure he was sacked, him disagreeing with them might have had a large part to do with that considering he was not sacked whilst the team languished in mid table for most of the season.

Thought he looked dodgy all the way back in his debut against Servette. Really poor goalkeeper, Ross Turnbull might be the only number 1/2 worse in the last 20 years.

I’ve given him the benefit of the doubt but my patience is wearing thin. Still don’t want him sacked but he will be doing very well to come 6th and win the conference league at this stage.

So so poor. About as bad as it could have been barring the unthinkable.

Very few positives, sloppy and boring play

Tough watch , hard to believe some of the football this team were playing 4 months ago.

Probably go with a similar team to the first leg, maybe give another youngster a go from the start. Wouldn’t be opposed to Jackson & Palmer getting 45 mins to try and get a goal.

Playing devils advocate a bit here but he missed a tonne of sitters against Southampton and Villa and a pen against Leicester. Went close with edge of the box shots against Ipswich and Brentford at the death. He should really a bare minimum of 2 goals from the above. If he gets 2/3 goals as he should have, is anyone speaking of a dip in form?

Feel like it’d be a miracle to score 2.

I do wonder if the Fulham defeat made him decide he’s going to live and die by his philosophy. It was like a basketball match at times in the first half , completely end to end. I remember after one of our entertaining wins early in the season, he specifically mentioned the team being way off what he wants in terms of “control”

Is he really the answer ? I know Sanchez isn’t but I’m not sure about Petrovic, think it could be a classic case of him being rated because he’s not in the team at the moment. My memory of him last season was being distinctly average at best. Started out ok but started letting in cheap enough goals but not howlers like Sanchez. Sort of like Kepa in that regard and I think his very low save % shows that.

Feel like his collection of crosses is actually ok to be honest, but yes he’s incredibly error prone.

Forrest have a nice gap and relatively kind fixtures. I would be surprised if Newcastle finished ahead of us. I think they are overrated by many here and have a very tricky run in albeit with a game in hand. No guarantees city finish ahead of us either. Especially with haaland out.

I think we will get in just about seeing as it’s top 5.
