  1. I agree with this… Undoubtedly, Pulisic has not been in Project Restart form. And, it's hard to trust him with his injuries. But, I think he's mostly fit? He is just the odd-man-out because of tactics, as I am skeptical it's all to do with form. From November at Tottenham to January at Luton Town, Puli was arguably the best-attacking player when given the role he's best in (inverted left winger). He seemed to be the only one to show moments of some magic -- I mean, the team was playing terrible, so that's not saying much. Now, he hasn't had any time to get into any rhythm under Tuchel. And, rightly so, Tuchel came in and made positive tactical changes – Chelsea is clearly better in terms of defensive structure with wing-backs (Puli would be terrible there) and a back-3. So, Puli is competing against Werner and Tuchel has to decide who to invest more time in– Werner or Puli. Werner is not injury prone. At Dortmund, Tuchel also really didn't view Puli as a regular starter at the end of TT's last season there – more of an occasional sub. I think he views Puli as fairly one-dimensional (which, I think he may be correct -- great agility, direct in dribbling, but needs to room to be able to cut and go on to his right-foot). If Puli can develop more to be able to play centrally as well (like a False 9), he'll get more playing time -- but, its tough sledding to learn a new role quickly at Chelsea. Puli will probably be a sub for most of the remainder of the season, and then we'll see -- I don't think he will want to be in that role beyond this summer.
  2. LOL. Puli comes in for 5 minutes. Gets a foot stomp and a ball to the face. He should be awake now.
  3. What the hell Ziyech -- clear pass to Puli and he's on goal.
  4. Ziyech on. Wonder if Puli is hurt -- otherwise, Puli must have poured something into Tuchel's coffee
  5. Grioud! Ah man, didn't know the big guy could get up like that.
  6. Is there really a more annoying player than Suarez? Top 5 at least.
  7. I dunno, complaints about Ziyech and Pulisic are off imo -- I think it all starts with not getting the ball past the midfield line (they have hardly touched the ball and when they have, Ziyech had a nice one-touch pass and Puli dribbled through the middle and got it to CHO for the only dangerous cross of the half). We can't get control in the back and through the midfield. Alonso and Emerson shouldn't be on the field at the same time.
  8. It's about as fun as getting a tooth pulled.
  9. Has Ziyech and Pulisic even touched the ball more than once yet? As I write this, nice one-touch pass by Ziyech.
  10. LOL -- not even a question... that was a penalty. Sh**-show so far
  11. It feels like Chelsea is playing in mud right now.
  12. This half has been quite annoying. The Chilwell, Mount, Pulisic exchange was working fairly well in the first half. Then quick switches to CHO felt dangerous. 2nd half -- blah.
  13. "On ground, arms wide open, complaining".... We should call it the Grealish.
  14. Hey, that's what a little triangle passing looks like in the attacking third. First dangerous exchange in awhile. Bummer for CHO.
  15. Substitutes needed. The first 15 minutes of the 2nd half have been terrible.
  16. What a terrible sequence. 1) Missed Handball 2) Christensen Hurt 3) Goal without Center-back in the six-yard box
