December 26, 20205 yr After that majestic performance against the Arse, let's just hope that we don't concede 7.
December 26, 20205 yr We need more creativity, we're hardly missing Ziyech. 2 days and we have a game already, some rotation has to be done. I'd go with this lineup: --------------- Mendy -------------- Azpilicueta - Zouma - Rudiger - Emerson --------- Kante ----- Mount ------- Hudson Odoi --------------- Pulisic ----------------- Havertz Abraham -------- In attack we go high with 4-2-2-2 with Havertz playing next to Tammy. In defense he returns back to 4-2-3-1. James and Chilwell are both supposed to be injured, I don't know if they will be able to play 2 games in 3 days. Same as a Thiago Silva. Azpilicueta with his leadership has to start. Hudson Odoi and Pulisic to be our most creative players in the final third. Play Havertz mostly in the final third, use him in the central only for defensive duty. Aston Villa looks more confident than us, strange to say but we might be underdog here. Losing here and we're dropping ourselves from the ladder. COME ON CHELS!!!!
December 26, 20205 yr Villa had ten men against Palace but you’d have thought it was the other way around. Dean Smith has got them playing well and working hard. Cheeky bid for Grealish? Get in his head at least
December 26, 20205 yr Well we have to make changes, fresh legs and kick some up the behind. Mendy Azpi Christensen Rudiger Emerson Jorginho Gilmour Mount Havertz CHO Werner If Zyiech can play take Mount of for him.
December 26, 20205 yr It makes no difference if they don't want it. Just play 11 players that want it equal to or more than the opposition, If they don't want to be on the pitch or work for the result, they can sod off out the club.
December 26, 20205 yr We simply must get a better performance v Villa, than we got by the majority of our players tonight.
December 26, 20205 yr Mendy Azpilicueta Rudiger Zouma Emerson Kante Havertz Mount Hudson-Odoi Pulisic Giroud

December 27, 20205 yr Just now, Gol15 said: It's not but... it's that or suffer another game. If he doesn't get injured he can rest and not play at all vs Fulham. He played today and we suffered regardless. Let's play Timo as a striker, Havertz as a number 10 and squad players in a 4-2-3-1 focused of letting Havertz and Werner play their best positions. Like my line up suggested. Bring in other bodies as you like for City but keep those 2 there.

December 27, 20205 yr I would go with this : Mendy James Zouma Silva(or Rudiger) Chilwell Kanté Mount CHO. Havertz. Pulisic Werner

December 27, 20205 yr Mendy Azpi Zouma Rudiger Chilwell Kovacic Kante Havertz CHO Werner Pulisic We got to try something different.
December 27, 20205 yr Grealish is playing well, he can beat his man and has a good engine. McGinn is capable of scoring from midfield and Watkins is a poacher and speed merchant. They are level on points with us with two games in hand. This might be a season defining match, good luck Frank.
December 27, 20205 yr If James and Chilwell were fit, I’d possibly switch to a wing back system and see how it plays out. Mendy - Zouma, Thiago, Rudiger - James, Chilwell, Kante, Jorginho - Havertz - Giroud, Werner It’d give Werner support up top whilst playing in his usual position, give Havertz a chance in his favoured position and cover our lack of wingers whilst allowing Pulisic to have a rest. But I wouldn’t trust Azpilicueta and Emerson at wing back and not sure if Thiago can play two games in three days. Mendy - Azpilicueta, Emerson, Zouma, Rudiger - Kante, Jorginho, Mount - CHO, Andorjin, Werner And hope, I think!
December 27, 20205 yr Lampard has said CHO is starting after his performance yesterday. He needs to play tomorrow like he did yesterday, for me he always seems to be scared to play his natural game when he gets a start after a good cameo. Hoping to see Pulisic on the left, CHO on the right and either Giroud or Werner through the middle.
