Maybe it’s because of all the high expectations with the summer signings, the fact that everything was going well....I just can’t get excited for this and that’s a foreign feeling to me.

Very nervous about Chilwell and Pulisic playing and have to think they wouldn’t be if the mess at the Emirates hadn’t happened. Would have preferred trying Havertz in the place of Mount as well, just to give the latter a break and allow Havertz to play in the middle. Nice to see CHO start but I’m sure he’ll be infuriating soon enough. Those centre backs against Grealish and Watkins... we’ll have to score because I’m sure they will.

Come on a Chelsea !

I don’t mind wholesale changes the team deserves it, but AC is self harm, the defence weren’t the main issue, a pen, a free kick and a cross that went in. 
 

It was our moist attack and lack of control in the middle, timo would be left at home, I like the front 3, but I think Havertz even although anti climatic brings something we don’t have in the middle, we look much better with him, I would have gone Mount Havertz and kante. 
 

For people moaning about mount he always puts in 100 percent he always presses and makes himself available, i don’t understand the hate.

Havertz needs to study Grealish, and to watch how he dominates his Teams play, this is what i ultimately want him to become for us.

Mount wont like be as productive today imo as his corners have less to aim at. He has Giroud and Rudiger. Christensen is useless at attacking set plays, so is everyone else in the side. 

All down to CHO and Pulisic to put it on a plate for each other and Giroud.

Let's hope this works out. 

With MIngs out I don't see too many physical players in Villa to really upset Christensen so this might be a decent opposition for him.

Iam concerned about this game, Villa have spanked Arsenal and Liverpool this season and look like a proper top 6 side much better then Arsenal. There front line is fluid and well balanced and more importantly they have an in form striker. 

The backline they have today is questionable and I expect both teams to score, let's hope we can score a few more then them.
