  1. Size doesn’t seem to matter to Messi, Xavi, Maradona, Dennis Wise, Giovinco etc etc. Rice is physically much bigger, who would you rather have? As the Scottish fans chanted at Rice “you’re just a sh*te Billy Gilmour”
  2. To be fair, Pep’s team selection is a bit dubious....they would be 4-0 down if we had a striker
  3. Can you imagine how good Werner would be if he could finish and keep onside....
  4. TT persists in playing experienced, bang average players. Ultimately, this has cost us massively. Frank had the right idea about Jorginho, that is for sure.
  5. Our midfield is offering nothing. Got to give Gilmour a chance l
  6. I wouldn’t mind Gilmour on for Kova - he’s clearly off the pace and McGinn and Grealish have goals in them.
  7. I heard something quite bizarre from a mate of mine who works for Man City. The rumour doing the rounds there is that they have agreed a sell on fee/percentage with Norwich for BG. Norwich will loan him next season with an option to buy, which they will exercise and sell onto City within 12 months. Apparently Pep wants him and Foden in his midfield but knows we won’t sell him to them. Probably a load of bollocks but my mate has been reliable about a few things in the past. Even if it’s not true, it’s a diverting tale.
  8. I wonder what his stats say about Timo...
  9. Because we need 2 left backs in reserve....clearly.
  10. I hope he’s fit, or the wisdom of two left backs on the bench might not be the best decision.
  11. I think he’s done rather well given it’s not his team/players - give him a transfer window and let’s see him kick on. I think he will be quite ruthless in the summer tammy - gone, Billy on loan, kepa gone (if anyone will take him), Jorginho - gone, Pulisic - gone, Zouma - gone, Cho - on loan
  12. Why do I think the next few weeks are make or break for TT? We don’t make too 4 and lose the CL - I would not be shocked if he got the bullet. The last two games have been dire and his only real response was to pull BG.
  13. TT made it abundantly clear who is the main casualty when Kova returns. It is actually the only thing he has done that I disagree with. BG, Kante and Kova should be rotating and Jorgi should be offloaded. But that won’t happen and BG will be elsewhere next season.
  14. TT will ship him out on loan and bring in a couple more midfielders. Billy is better going somewhere he can get a fair shake and play regularly. I actually think he’ll have to leave the club before he is appreciated - I could see a De Bruyne scenario coming back to haunt us.
  15. I would like to hear the explanation for hooking Gilmour. Other than, he’s not going to create a fuss. That was a truly appalling decision.
  16. I don’t know why TT would take Gilmour off - he was best midfielder on the pitch. Jorginho has offered absolutely nothing in comparison. Big mistake.
  17. Taking Billy off is the easy option isn’t it. He’s not going to kick off (although he has more right than most). Player power is too much these days
  18. Billy G is a class apart from any other midfielder in the pitch. Very impressive
