You really risk Silva getting injured if you play him on Tuesday. Look how he was at the end of the game, you have to rest him or it is a real risk.

I don't expect Fofana to be rushed in to starting, just as Cucurella was not. Kova is not fit for 90 minutes.

 

Thought the match was next Saturday, not Tuesday.

Definitely need to rotate a bit after the hard work yesterday. KK be back in, probably in pace of Silva. Chiwell in for Cucurella, either Mount or Havertz to be rotated out for a fresh attacker.

Southampton ain't no mugs.....the way we are playing ATM I'll take a point, although ideally 3 would be preferable.

Yes but then we get an extra day before playing on the weekend. These things even out and its why we have a big squad. if we want to we could play CHO and Ziyech and Broja and Koulibaly and Chilwell. Dave and Mount only played one half. Of course we wont play cho and ziyech and and broja. 

I could even see Carney Chukwumeka making the bench as Kova isn't that fit, kante is out, gallagher is out, rlc is playing wide right and Jorginho can't go flat out every game.

And why wouldn't you give Carney a few minutes. Stirling started for Liverpool quite young and was a sensation pretty much straight away.

It is because both us and Southampton played on Saturday whilst all the other big teams who are playing Wednesday either played on the Sunday or played against a team who played on Sunday. City playing Forest who played Sunday. Liverpool playing Newcastle who played Sunday. Spurs and West ham play Wednesday who both played Sunday. Arsenal play Villa who also played Sunday. Only one of 'big teams' if that what you call them who are lucky with the schedule is United as they play on Thursday so they have a long rest to recover.

Wonder if we can make it through without getting another red card.

Mount and Havertz need would benefit from some time out. Hope we change it up a bit.

Broja knows Southampton very well after his loan there last season. Give him a start.
