STATS reacted to SydneyChelsea in Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"Ironically, Caicedo first came to fame by single-handedly destroying Arsenal while playing as an inverted RB for Brighton

STATS got a reaction from OTL in Pedro Neto *Official*I will repeat, I think he is extremely underrated. If a big offer comes in then I guess yes I would understand why but other than that he is no way near as bad as people make him out on here. He will put in a shift and actually makes decent returns and as we can see can play in different positions. He needs to cut out the selfish acts though. He skipped past their fullback with ease second half and could have passed it but he shot it and went out wide. Really pissed me off but other than for that for a player who we are possibly looking to move on, he played very well.

STATS got a reaction from dR3 in Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion (Premier League) Sunday 30th August — 14:00 BST Stamford BridgeI was at the game. Was a real cracker but boy do we lose concentration. Win is a win that is most important. The first half hour or so was magnificent and then we got sloppy. I am slightly worried though. It seems Alonso is not focused on possession which is fine but both games in league so far seems to be based on us outscoring opposition which is exciting to watch but if we play a better team then god knows what could happen. It is quite relief that Mitoma, Minteh, Hinshelwood and Rutter were all injured because they were really wasteful, as were we.
To the game itself, Pedro defo MOTM. I thought Palmer, apart from his goal was really bad. He was getting caught out defensively and had no way near the same influence he did on Monday night. But we got the win so I am happy. Let's pray that Caicedo is ok for next week because that is our real challenge now and will tell a lot of where we currently are at.

STATS reacted to KonaKai Blue in Pedro Neto *Official*So confused as to why people want Neto sold. There are at least 6-8 players that need to be shipped before him. Neto has that in his bag where he will win you games or salvage points in big games ala Arsenal.

STATS reacted to dansubrosa in Trevoh ChalobahIncredibly harsh to put Chalobah in the same category as these clowns. He never was for me.
He’s always been a very solid squad player and it’s not his fault we had to use him as a first teamer for so long. Personally I would have been very happy to keep him.
All the best Chalobah.

STATS reacted to True Blue23 in Joao PedroAlso another problem I have with Enzo is, that he is just not very press resistant. I like my midfielders to be able to receive the ball in tight spaces, retain it and move it on to a team mate. Enzo doesn't have either the agility, the balance and upper body strength nor the first touch to do that consistently. If you lose the ball in deeper areas the team is very vulnerable to counter attacks. He's just way to lose in possession.
He has a good delivery, is a good passer, has a decent shot and is good at box crashing. His profile doesn't really scream "elite deep midfielder". And we don't need him further forward as we already have Palmer and Rogers, with JP and Estevao also being able to operate in the 10. I'd much rather move him on for good money and get a proper deep midfielder, so we don't have to run Caicedo into the ground again.

STATS reacted to Chelsger in Morgan RogersOfficial now
Welcome lad!
Morgan Rogers signs for Chelsea!
Chelsea is delighted to announce the signing of England international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old forward has signed a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2033 and will join Xabi Alonso's squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
‘I'm so excited,’ said Rogers. ‘For me, Chelsea are the biggest club in London and a club I've always admired since I was a kid.

STATS reacted to DarkMata in Morgan RogersWhen did fans suddenly have to justify the price of player transfers. I remember Man Utd breaking the British transfer record virtually every season even on defenders and teenagers, there was never any outrage or justification despite no other club able to get close. All of a sudden we have fans embarrassed by the fees and opposition fans guilt tripping you over the cost. I've given over caring, the prices have been ridiculous since the 90s. I remember Liverpool fans moaning about the money spent the season we bought both Lavia and Caicedo then blow £250 million and Isak and Wirtz a couple of years later. All of a sudden Man Utd fans up in arms about Rogers and Anderson fees they can all f**k off too. Name me a club thats not overspent on players and I'll show you a team thats won nowt.
You can bore off with amortisation and balancing the books. Buy me some exciting players and Im happy as long as we don't go bankrupt.
Good luck to Rogers, hopefully he can live up to expectations. At least he's guaranteed to be better than the Garnacho and Gittens 'deals' we've been trapped in and we won't instantly be looking for a replacement in a years time.

STATS reacted to Sconnie Blue in Morgan RogersBouaddi and Diomande were quoted over £100m. Liverpool had their bid even rejected.
Yet we are getting a PL proven young player that immediately improves the team for a similar amount.
Thats the market.

STATS got a reaction from Term_X in Go and sign Jon Stones on a FREE!And then to rub it in, we played them a few weeks after this and he put in a worldie of a performance when they beat us 3-1 and had Costa in his pockets all game.
