June 18, 20251 yr Why??? Leave Brighton alone. We have Estevao, Noni, Neto, George and Paez.We should look for a good backup RB and keep Gusto on the left. A top class CB would be better than looking at another winger

A top class CB would be better than looking at another wingerThink we are after another attacker. Rather than an out and out striker that most believe we’re after I think we want someone who can play in other attacking positions too. Pedro, Ekitke, and Kudus rather than Gyokeres and Sesko. Not sure why though we can’t fit Nkunku in the team who ticks those boxes.
June 19, 20251 yr We’ve run out of Man City academy players to sign, so back to the Brighton playbook!

June 29, 20251 yr Good player but does he improvise us? Not sure. Jack of all trades and very good player but if we are talking £50m+ just seems an unnecessary signing that we don't need. Similar to Nkunku and Felix in being able to play multiple positions in attack but if we had that problem and seem to be looking to ship them two off, then why are we targeting a similar profile? One thing he has that compares to our other No.10 including Palmer is pace, so if he is running of a targetman like Delap, we would be more fluid. But still a bit baffled by it, considering his goal record apart from penalties last season was not that great. Edited June 29, 20251 yr by STATS
June 29, 20251 yr If this is the move that finally gets Jackson out of the club then I’m all for it, if its just another signing and Jackson stays then what a waste of money.
June 29, 20251 yr It's a bit on the expensive side but he is a legitimately good player, much better value than spending £60m on Neto.

June 29, 20251 yr "I AM ONLY GOING TO THE CLUB TO BE THE NUMBER ONE STRIKER"NOT MY WORDS BUT PEDRO'SAccording to Sky Sports, Pedro will only consider joining a club where he is going to be first-choice striker. That, of course, is not something Enzo Maresca can guarantee him, while Newcastle United are also in a similar position because of Alexander Isak. I DONT RATE HIM, HOW CAN WE GO FROM OSIMHEN TO ISAAK TO GYOKERES TO EKITIKE TO PEDRO?HOW CAN WE GO AFTER A PLAYER WHO DEMANDS TO BE NUMBER 1 IN THAT POSITION BUT PETROVIC ASKED FOR THE SAME GUARANTEE AND WAS TOLD NO CHANCE AND IS NOW BEING SOLD Edited June 29, 20251 yr by Caps_Lock_King

June 29, 20251 yr So what's the plan for next season? Are we selling Jackson or playing with a second striker?
June 29, 20251 yr We do need abit of destroyer. This team is too nice. With Delap and Pedro, couldhelp us massively. Last two seasons he has scored 9+ 10 goals so not exactly prolific but I’ll take him.
