June 30, 20251 yr Where will he be playing in January on loan when Maresca is fired and the player is deemed surpless to requirments. another overpriced bang average footballer.
June 30, 20251 yr Seems like he plays similar position to Nkunku and Felix, both of whom were deemed surplus to requirements as they "didn't fit the system". Make it make sense ffs 😂Attitude problems bode well ... have we done ANY homework on this deal LOL

Hence the business is seen to grow. But the ones that has profit on their sales are the academy boys. Most of the ones we buy post BlueCo doesn't have their values increased.

Though if you say bought 20 x 50m value players, the club would in theory be worth an extra billion? From there any increase in players value would boost the clubs wealth. This of course is only paper wealth, it doesn’t get a real value until we sell for profit or loss. Nkunku is a good example, we apparently value him at 70m an increase of 15m…until he’s sold and we show a 15m loss.
June 30, 20251 yr Author There's some credible reports we still want Kudus too. Said it a few weeks ago but Maresca will surely be looked at with a magnifying glass on his adaptability and if he can make use with all these players who can "play multiple roles".

An Ugochukwu who has already been replaced by the new Ugochukwu, Amougou who himself has been replaced by the new Amougou before he has kicked a ball in Essugo? Is Anselmino the Sarr replacement or is Sarr the Anselmino replacement? Is Paez destined to be the Pedro replacement or is that Quenda. Guess Estavao can replace Gittens when he's past it. Remember Kellyman? Totally worth it to get Chukwuemeka. Was Guiu the understudy to Jackson or is that now Delap or maybe that's Fofana? How much will we make on Washington? Remember Kellyman? Yeah and don't even get me started on the goalkeepers

They all needed years and years of development and frankly a lot of those guys mentioned still need time to developed and some others were never good enough to begin with.People like to fantasize of "what if?!", but when it is actually happening, it is still not ok.I have come to peace with the fact that the new board took a different path, but you have to realize that you'd be asking the same question in 7-8 years if the board would be as impatient as a lot of the fans and would start selling the best players because they do not live at the standards imposed by Drogba, Terry and Lampard's Chelsea. You would surely go back to asking "How Chelsea would have looked with Colwill, James, Cucurella, Caicedo, Lavia, Enzo, Palmer, Joao Pedro, Neto all hitting their prime or nearing their prime at the same time?". All having other youngsters like Gittens, Quenda, Estevao, Santos, Acheampong etc. ready to take over at any time.I can see what the board are trying to do, but that does not happen over night and it takes a whole lot of time. Boehly needed around 8 to 10 years before he made the Dodgers a powerhouse again.7 hours ago, petre ispirescu said:In that situation, the club would have gone through the same process they are going now and that is assembling a young squad with the purpose of waiting 4 to 5 years until most of them hit their prime at the same time.Rice, Musiala, James and all the other Academy graduates were not ready made players from the first day they turned pro. AND we were debt free ..Destroying our elite status and then expecting fans to be pleased that we might, one day , get back there is beyond ridiculous.

I mean Cherki is a standard BlueCo youngster, Rjienders no one was asking to sign him, Ait Nori looks like a decent signing. Savinho and Doku are terrible. Mamoush has been rotting about the Bundesliga for years with only one good season.Think it’s easy to glance at other teams believing they’re making great signings and then scrutinising your own team. When in fact the signings aren’t too dissimilar or worse.Outside of Cole which one of our attacking players gets into City’s first 11 actually that’s going too far, which one gets on their bench ?Not a single one!!

We need to come in terms of what they try to do and step into this new reality. Going after everyone at the club all the time is getting very old, very fast. Funny how some people here say they have gotten over Roman's era and "please don't refer to Roman's era" and yet reference to Roman's Chelsea on how the club should be. This is not his club anymore. Like it or hate it this is Chelsea FC now.

June 30, 20251 yr If I had the power to enforce a transfer ban on Chelsea this season I would. We desperately need some new players, but if this is what the board are spending their money on, forget it. Absolute f**king circus this is.

I am not going after fans. I just feel the general feeling around this place is not fun. We have one of the biggest and most beautiful clubs in the world but reading some comments here doesn't really reflect it. Anyway this whole loop of conversation is so old. Let's just stop it before it starts once more. 😐

I wouldn't take either of them if I'm honest. 4 goals between the 2 of them I bet Liverpool are sh*tting themselves. Its a massive downgrade from De Bruyne, Marhez, Aguero, Sane/Peak Bernardo.City do have a wealth of quality mainly from the experienced players they've kept from previous winning side something we sold off.Haaland is the best striker in the league so he's obviously going to be picked but he's the only City attacker that would get in Liverpools team and possible Arsenals.
