1000 times better than the German skeleton Havertz.
-
Christian Pulisic - Official
And yet, Pulisic has as many goals as your Golden Boy Mount, the German skeleton Havertz, and an over-rated Sterling who is definitely regretting his decision to play for little Tommy T in this juggernaut of an offense. Think Paul Campbell makes some valid points in that thread you are pissing your pants over. And, as a Chelsea fan, after watching that absolute sh*tshow of a game today, I would think you would be much more concerned with the atrocities on the field, such as a goalie with no feet, midfielders with no attacking ability, and a coach with absolutely no idea what he is doing offensively. The two Americans, pictured, totally destroyed this Chelsea team today - CP's dad's tweets should be the least of your concerns.

Great points. That is where the game was lost today. Especially Leeds defensive midfield pressure. Adams was their player of the match, and Gallagher and Jorginho were very pedestrian today.

From Sky Sports: Leeds covered 11km more in this match than Chelsea. That will be the plan of attack for every team playing Chelsea going forward. Relentless pressing especially in the defensive half of the pitch. Chelsea's biggest need, in my opinion, is a creative attacking mid that can break the pressure, push upfield and distribute. As most have pointed out, waiting for the wingbacks to overlap allows the defense to get back.

No problem criticising Pulisic when it is warranted. However, when you criticize a guy who has played 20 minutes of mop up duty in three consecutive games (and starting off at midfield today? wtf?) and you conveniently leave off both Golden Boy Mason Mount (worst player on the pitch) and Kai Havertz from criticism, when both have NO GOALS and NO ASSISTS between them while playing four times as much as CP, I feel the need to throw my two cents in. How many shots on goal do Mount and Havertz have between them this season?

That structure put two shots on goal, was held scoreless, gave up three goals, and got their collective arses kicked for 70 minutes. What game did you watch?

I can say the same as Havertz. I will give Mount a great last season; this season he has been the most disappointing player on the pitch. Save some vitriol for him.

Already a Leeds fan. And a Chelsea fan. Just not as apt as you to throw two dudes who played for 20 minutes in an absolutely uncreative, nonsensical attacking scheme under the bus when the three starters, who have played almost 4 times as much, have zero goals and very few shots between them.

Finally, some sanity. Thank you.

Ahhh... the mandatory throw Pulisic and Ziyech under the bus post. Wow... how many shots from Havertz and Mount on goal this year. When will you guys realize it is little Tommy T's system that is killing this team. Even us Yanks who call it soccer can see that. Spineless and gutless soccer from him.

And Mount and Havertz? Please comment - three games in, any shots on target from these two Goliaths? Please tell me you know nothing about football without telling me you know nothing about football.

Very simple - Tuchel might be a defensive genius (questionable) but he is putrid in his offensive design. The way he has yanked offensive guys the last two years has shattered confidences. None of the attacking players believe in his system. Guys on here like Hazardous can blame Pulisic for all of the offensive woes - and, three games in, if you really believe that, you know nothing about football. Sterling, no goals so far. Mount and Havertz - absolute ghosts (do either of them even have a shot on goal this year?). Chelsea have absolutely no attacking midfielders. None. Aaronson and Adams absolutely shamed Gallagher and Jorginho today. The wingbacks were putrid. Time to scrap this offensive set. Hazardous, you can keep blaming Pulisic all you want. Other, more knowledgeable Chelsea fans, will realize it's little Tommy's system, not the players.

Aaronson will start at attacking midfield for us, Pulisic at left wing. So, you are wrong.

Leeds v Chelsea (PL) Sun 21st Aug 2022 14:00 GMT
He has never been Pulisic's backup. You have no idea what you are talking about. Aaronson plays RW or attacking mid for us. He can play all over the front. But he is coming into his own as our best attacking mid. We will start him and Adams in the middle with Pulisic onvthe left and either Gio Reyna or Tim Weah on the right.

Christian Pulisic - Official
Remember, Pulisic has always been the whipping boy. Guys like Ziyech, Werner and Havertz have sh*t the bed just as much with more playing time. This year, Mount has been arguably the worst starter after two games. Starling will not have the offensive success he enjoyed at MC because Tuchel's offense is pure crap - and we will wait and see how quickly Chelsea fans start turning on him, if they do at all. So far after two games, no goals from any attacking players. Both Havertz and Starling missed sitters that Chelsea fans would have cut off Pulisic's balls for if it had been him.

I should have said most. I became a Chelsea fan because of guys like John Terry and Didier Drogba. But 99% of Americans have never heard of Todd Boehy. To think he is going to have any affect on the American audience is asinine. While there are the occasional American Chelsea fans who will follow the Blues sans Pulisic, most will merely shift their allegiance to his new club. Period. In fact, if Pulisic ends up leaving, suffice it to say most Americans will be rooting against Chelsea. Us American Chelsea fans pre-Pulisic are definitely in the minority.

Dude, you can't go twenty minutes without posting about Pulisic. You would be as butthurt as they come, and you would spend the majority of your tiny existence following everything MU just so you could post about CP. Everyone here knows that. And what is absolutely laughable is it seems as if CP is going to be leaving Chelsea with exactly the same amount of goals scored this season as your boys Havertz, Mount and Starling - combined. Americans will move on from Chelsea because, to them, they don't give a sh*t about your club. But dolts like you will never, ever stop following someone like CP who you are totally obsessed with with every fiber of your being. Sad.

Same reason I know you are a snowflake. And I really, really hope our paths cross some day.

Christian Pulisic - Official
Nah... you are the one dude on here obsessed with him, like Democrats with Trump. You are the one pathetic imp on here that will watch whichever team CP ends up on just so you can root against him. There are some cool people on here - and then there is you. Makes me happy to be an American, knowing you and you alone suffer with such an inferiority complex when it comes to us Yanks.

Just don't want to hear the bitching and complaining from this Chelsea base that hate Pulisic, think he sucks, but don't want him to play for another PL team. Ultimate pussy mentality. And never call me your mate. You and I aren't friends.
-
Christian Pulisic - Official
So, after Man U takes CP off your hands I would expect the general sentiment here to be euphoria. Remember, you hate Pulisic, think he sucks, is not PL level, and is only here to sell merchandise and Chelsea to Americans. Don't ever forget that sentiment, those thoughts, those feelings. Ever.

Think faulting him for his accuracy is exactly what we are doing. But you are bang on right about his consistency. Bang on.

American inferiority complex. See it a lot. Does it under the guise of Pulisic attacks - what is laughable is all of the attacking players have sucked under Tuchel - Havertz, Ziyech, Werner, Lukaku - but this guy is fixated on Pulisic. Injects him into every single one of his posts, to the point of obsession. Newsflash, Sherlock - this offense overall is complete garbage. The best wingers in the world would struggle, as you are soon to see with Sterling and you will continue to see with Mount. But save all of your vitriol for someone who played 20 minutes yesterday. Makes you look moronic.

Again with the attack on Pulisic. How about your boys Mount and Havertz? They played the invisible man role really well yesterday. Someday, very soon, your football naiveté will realize this offensive scheme of Tuchel's, predicated on wingbacks, with no viable striker and no high quality attacking midfielders, kills all attacking players. Sterling is going to find this out really, really quick as his stats plummet. But, by all means, keep dropping Pulisic's name in all of your whining diatribes. It is as old and predictable as a Tommy T offensive set.
