Well TT will play this very safe.  We have to match their energy - can see a draw.  TT's predicted line up

                 Mendy
       Dave - Silva - Koulibaly
James                               Chilwell
            Kante  Jorginho
Mount       Havertz       Sterling

It'll be Alonso sadly.

2022/23 and Alonso and Azpilicueta still start at Chelsea Football Club.

Bar Alonso in for Chilwell I think you got it spot on.

I would take out Dave and Havertz for Trev and Broja.

We need to be prepared to fight at this one, both the players and crowd.

As well as our poo record at their place. They are doing a warrior in Richarlison but the fight in the crowd will drive them on.

Really Havertz?

Aside from the champions league final goal, what has he done?

Yes Havertz who has been playing there when Werner was sh*te and when Lukaku was sh*te. Or would you rather Michy? People say Sterling but he doesn't play as a striker and he was sh*te when we tried him there just like Hazard was.

What has Havertz done? Has he been worth the price tag honestly??

I think he's been very underwhelming, work rate is average & not clinical enough in front of goal.

Pulisic, Ziyech & Lukaku get alot of flak last year but Havertz was not much better.

The team as a whole is getting worse because the manager has nothing in terms of tactics.

Cheery start to the season. Nice to see the optimism. Team does pick itself. I might prefer Trev and chiller but we know what the team will be. Let’s hope they are up to beating Everton.

My best guess at TTs selection, not necessarily who I would pick.  That said, I would still pick Havertz, but agree with the sentiment he not only needs to do more, he needs to do more consistently!

We will play the same player as in our 1st match against udinese. Alonso will play over Chilwell.

Is our record here really that bad?

Been a poor record for nearly 15 years. We've only won 3 of our last 14 at Goodison Park.

Last win was in 2016/2017 when we won the title with Conte, and since then we've drawn one and lost four consecutive times.

Interestingly, the record doesn't extend to Stamford Bridge. Everton hasn't beaten us there since 1994.
