Happy with the points.

Having just watched Brighton, not too impressed with our style of football.  Gotta accept that our way of playing has brought us relative success,  so it's bound to continue. New signings looked very good, expecting us to improve  by next week hopefully !

Come ON you BLUES !

Brighton were good. Their energy level was excellent and was the skill level at least down the left. We have to get more energy into the team. One of the biggest criticisms of Mount and Havertz was how little effort they put in, to me it was the same with James. And playing Dave in the back 3 is too much age.

You could see that when Cucurella and Broja  and frankly RLC came on, the intensity went up.

Lets face it we were very sterile in that game, but we got 3 points. Still something entirely better will be required against Spurs. Personally I'd be for starting Kova. Kova and Jorginho are our best combo at pivots right now, maybe not the best individually but the best combo. And personally despite the errors Id play chalobah instead of Dave because we want the go forward drive.

Another challenge is to find a way for Gallagher to fit in.

At the end of the season its points that matter not performance but at the beginning of the season maybe its the performance that matters a bit more. Ours wasn't there.

Great result even if the performance was average. It will give us confidence and hopefully settle things down a little bit.

New signings all showed encouraging signs, so though that makes me upbeat about our future prospects.

Big early test against the Spuds. Hope we're ready for it.

But you can't fault HazardousChoice  for his accuracy and consistency of his argument. Whilst he seems to push a few buttons on here with some people, I actually find most of his posts bang on.......unsettling but bang on.

There's nothing accurate about his theory that the club bought a player because of his nationality . Pure speculation.

but that's ok, it's an open forum, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and I like a lot of his posts, even if he tries to shoehorn Pulisic into everything !
