Aston Villa vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 22nd February 25 17:30 GMT
What we’re seeing now is Maresca’s team. The success seen in the first half of the season was off the back of what Poch had built and momentum from last year. That is gone now.

Clubs fault we’ve only got 1 striker. I dont count Guiu, he’s only a kid. In 2005 we had Drogba, Gudjohnson, Kezman. in 2009 we had Drogba, Anelka and Shevchenko. in 2011 we had Drogba, Anelka and Torres. In 2013 we had Torres, Ba and Eto. In 2015 we had Drogba, Costa and Remy. In 2017 we had Costa, Remy and Bats. In 2020 we had Giroud, Tammy and Bats. In 2025 we have Jackson. We knew Jackson alone wouldn’t be enough last summer, but the incompetent board did nothing about it. I mean what do you expect. Yes, we’ll never win anything with Maresca, he’s a championship level manager. I still think Nkunku along with Palmer are our 2 best attacking players. Instead of playing average Madueke on the right he could have played Palmer on the right and Nkunku through the middle. Palmer made his impact last year playing on the right. Doesnt Salah and didnt Messi also play out there? But Maresca doesnt have the vision or innovative enough to get the 2 best players playing on the pitch at the same time. For now were stuck with an incompetent board who know nothing about football and a C level manager, both are too stubborn to change.

Can we go for a proven manager with a track record of winning things this time…the times we have done in the past we've won things…Tuchel, Conte, Ancelotti, Mourinho, Benitez. Whenever we've tried our luck with mid tier unproven managers we havent won anything…Maresca, Lampard, Potter, Poch, Scholari, AVB. Its not rocket science.

Without Jackson, we are ten times a worse team. No one holding it up, no one stretching opposition defence, no one chasing down defenders, no one bringing in others into play, no aerial threat, no physical presence, no movement.

Great assist from Badiashille for the first goal and great finish by Disasi for the second.

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
No manager or professional athlete with any kind of ambition would ever say this. Either Maresca is sending a message to the owners this team just isnt good enough and will not meet your targets or this is scripted from the owners so we are slowly brainwashed into accepting defeat and mediocracy, whilst they try working out how they can maximise profits for themselves.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace (PL) Sun 1st September 24 13:30 GMT
The average age of our first team today is 23. It’s inevitable they will be inconsistent, win some, draw some and lose some. There is no substitute for experience. All things considered we’ve played decent, but we cant expect any short term success. No league or cup winning side in the history of the Pl, Serie A and La Liga has had a team this young. Winning teams usually have an average age of around 27, but of course our stat obsessed American owners know this.

Servette vs Chelsea (Conference League) Thursday 29th Aug 24, 19:30 GMT
Mudryk is great. At least you know what you’ll get with him every time…he’ll lose the ball. Gives the defence time to get in back in position and the team in shape to defend.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 25th Aug 24 14:00 GMT
This is what happens when you take off a complete non footballer and imposter in Mudryk and replace him with an actual footballer. Were always playing a man down with him on the pitch. I hope this is the last time Mudryk ever wears a Chelsea shirt. I got so much heat from people in this forum for calling Mudryk a Sunday league footballer who would never amount to anything when he joined the club. Shows how much they knew! Just fooled by his speed, blonde hair and butterfly tattoos.

Chelsea vs Servette (Conference League) Thursday 22nd Aug 24, 20:00 GMT
Madueke’s proven over the last year he’s got pace, strength, guile, the ability to beat players and the final product whether its goals or assists. Hopefully this game would have reassured any potential buyers of his ability and allows us to get the maximum for him. Weve just brought Neto and need another to leave alongside Sterling. I still think Mudryk’s ceiling and potential is greater than Madueke’s and we’d get more for selling Madueke, so Madueke has to go.

Palmer up front, a masterstroke. Your best player should always be the focal point.

This is the first real test for Maresca. This will be a great win to get under his belt.

Goall!!! Remember this all led from a great run by Mudryk down the left…it reminded me of R9 in his heyday.

Chelsea vs Servette (Conference League) Thursday 22nd Aug 24, 20:00 GMT
Why is there so much pessimism and negativity? The defence has been solid, no goals conceded. Neto and Mudryk have looked electric on the wings and causing problems. Caicedo, Nkunku and Dewsbury are controlling the midfield. Ive been really impressed by the team and how Maresca’s set the team up and his style of play.

Chelsea vs Servette (Conference League) Thursday 22nd Aug 24, 20:00 GMT
Were playing really well, just missing a goal. Servette are a really good team, finished 2nd in the Swiss league behind Young Boys. Need to make sure we dont concede, thats the main thing, so we still stand a chance in the 2nd leg.

What a load of crap. How some people believe we are in a better position now than before is beyond me. I find that usually these people tend to be those who have never kicked a football in their lives, have zero competitive spirit and are serial losers, the type who always believed that taking part was more important than winning.

The last Chelsea squad that finished 3rd in the PL in 2022 pre Clearlake/Boehly takeover: Mendy/Kepa James/Azpi Silva Rudiger Chalobah/Christensen/Zouma Alonso/Chilwell/Emerson Jorginho Kante Kovacic Gilmour/Barkley/RLC Mount Ziyech/ Hudson Odoi Werner/ Havertz Abraham/Lukaku To think we’ve spent £1.5 billion since the takeover and now have a considerably weaker first team, squad and manager. Never thought Id say this, but I miss the stability we had under the previous ownership, the scouting network under the management of Cech, the comparatively shrewd business done by Marina in the transfer market, the fact we werent mugs being taken advantage of by every club. We were challenging year on year for titles and cups and now were a club thats fallen to mid table mediocracy. The priority used to be winning football matches, now its turning the club into a franchise, tying young players into long contracts and selling them for ‘pure profit’. It’s difficult for me to get behind the team as the club’s principles are not ones that I can stand for.

Only 4th game, need to give it time. Weve played well at times. I know we lost to celtic 4-0 but we played well and were playing well here even though were losing 4-1. Just been unlucky.
