We really need to manage our expectations, were a mid table team and giving a mid table performance. Our squad is not as good as any of the top half squads…that is the reality. For such a young team were doing well. A point away to Bournemouth would be a good result and would move us to 11th.

Mudryk is awful. His technique is so bad and it’s not going to improve much after the age of 22. If it wasn’t for his pace he’d be playing Sunday league football. I don’t understand the comparisons with Ronaldo, at the age of 22 Ronaldo scored 42 goals for United. A better comparison might be Agbonlahor, but even he banged in 13 goals for Villa when he was 22. We spent £90mill on a player that scored 10 goals in 4 years in the Ukranian league. Whoever scouted him should be sacked, clearly not a footballing person.

We got rid of Mount, Havertz, Kante, Kovacic, Jorginho, Ziyech, Pulisic, RLC, Azpi, Auba. Spent £1billion and bought Enzo, Mudryk, Caicedo, Lavia, Jackson, Palmer, Nkunku, Ugochukwu, Gusto. Apart from Enzo and Nkunku, whose injured, we haven’t upgraded in any areas. Overall on paper were weaker. The signings are for the future, there’s no guarantee any of them will come good and we shouldnt expect to do much better than last season. It’s a clear strategy which won’t reap immediate results and there is also a big risk of failure.

This ones on Poch and last week too as Liverpool were there for the taking. I dont know the obsession with playing 5 at the back its so negative and sends a message that were not good enough to play with 4 and more in attack. Ziyech almost always created something when he played, whether it was an assist or a key pass leading to an assist, he had that quality which others lacked. Also consider he’s had no real striker/goal scorer to finish his crosses. The whole teams been crap in this respect. He was brought in by Lampard to play in a 433 system as he is an out and out winger and needs space to operate. In his 3 years here he played mainly as an inside forward in a 343 where he was cramped for space and had Reece james out wide. He was played out of position, so dont know how everyone was expecting him to excel and be like the Dutch player of the year which he was in a position hes never done and isnt suited to. Mount downed tools a long time ago, a year and a half ago, which is a disgrace. His attitude and body language on the pitch has been the worst ive seen after Lukaku during this time. To top it off he’s joining Man Utd which is a slap on the face of every Chelsea fan. But for some Chelsea fans he can do no wrong. Its better for Ziyech to leave, even if he scored 30 goals and had 30 assists im a season he’d still be abused no end by Chelsea fans and be told to fck off.

Say what you want about Ziyech, he’s one of the few players in the squad with the quality to provide an assist or score.
