We could have Pep as manager, but with these owners the project would probably fail. Whats as important as a good manager is a good owner.

Trev’s been world class since he came on

I just hope Havertz is dropped for this one. Every single attack breaks down with him, either a misplaced pass, poor touch and loses it or a weak shot, which he's done consistently for 2 years. Would rather have Felix or Auba up front.

Who do you want next as manager?
Regardless of who the manager is we dont have any goalscorers. A few seasons ago we had Giroud, Tammy, Pedro, Willian, even Alonso who could strike a ball. Before that add Hazard, Costa and Oscar. 10 years ago we had Lamps, Hazard, Willian, Oscar, Torress, Eto, Schurrle, Mata. Under Ancelotti we had Drogba, Anelka and Malouda with the likes of Shevchenko , Sturridge and J Cole as subs. You can go all the way back to 2004 where we had Drogba, Lamps, Mutu, Gudjohnson, Hasselbaink, Robben and Duff. Weve always had players who were clinical, who could score goals, all types of goals, half chances and goals out of nothing. Now we have none…even Kalou is a better finisher than our current crop of players and he walks into this current team. We have spent £600 million in the wrong areas and on potential apart from Enzo and Badioshille, the others are just raw and unproven and that in most cases doesnt materialise. This is on the new owners who thought success comes easy and can be bought without any real thought and planning. Newcastle on the other hand have been cautious, shrewd and very clever. The Saudis have more money than Boehly and co but have spent a third of what Chelsea have and have assembled a better squad, are currently 3rd and are not a laughing stock by sacking 4 managers in 1 season.

This is by far the worst weve played all season. Much worse than Potter ever had us playing.

Frank was great at some things - getting the team to score (albeit we had Tammy, Giroud, Pedro and Willian who were all goal scorers and better at scoring than our current crop). He was good with the youngsters (Mount, Abraham, James etc) and could get Mount firing again. Franks main issues were two: 1. just couldnt sort the defence out and we were leaking goals for fun and always looked shakey even with Silva. This should not have happened considering we had Silva, Rudi, Azpi, Zouma and Tomori. 2. Falling out with players and completely shutting them out ie Rudi and Alonso when they had so much to contribute. He’s a smart man and Im sure he would have learnt and it will be interesting to see how he does in the interim this time round. I wouldnt have him perm as he needs to prove himself ideally at a top club. But would have loved for him to be a success at Chelsea. I think hes a good appointment for the interim, nothing to lose, give the fans something to cheer about, always backing a club legend.

Mudryk scored 9 goals in 4 seasons in the Ukrainian league. Why is anyone even expecting him to score? We bought him for 90mill btw 🤣

Agreed…the self belief Potter has instilled in this team and the never say die attitude is something to be marvelled. As long as the players keep reacting, Potter should be offered a 10 year contract extension.

Completely being dominated in centre mid…its 2 against 3 all the time and Kovacic and Enzo arent exactly defensive. Zakaria needs to be starting.

If we draw or lose again this is on Potter. Mudryk looks completely lost playing as a lone striker!

We might have won midweek and be winning this one but we play the ugliest football Ive ever seen from a Chelsea team. We struggle stringing passes together and are never in control of a game.

That’s an insult to those managers. He has more in common with Dowie and Ince.

Imagine the reaction of serial winners Conte, Mourinho, Guardiola, Ancelotti, Tuchel etc. after tonights sh!t performance. Compared to “I think the boys did well and worked hard out there” Potter. As long as Potter is in charge Chelsea win nothing…nothing! Ever.

Ziyech was the only threat this evening…again sorry to say. He was the only creative force trying to make things happen. He delivered some quality crosses…no one to finish. As opposed to Mount and Havertz who did absolutely nothing…again.

I said at the start of the season Mount is done…he is the next Delle Ali…and he is proving it.

I repeat…none of our signings are world class or proven…although weve paid those premiums. Were buying potential who have performed well…not spectacularly in sub standard leagues. Most will end up being loaned out and will end up making massive losses on them.

I dont think the signings weve made are any good anyway…none are world class players thats for certain…theyve done well in sub standard leagues…will struggle in prem…and most will end up getting loaned out.
