This also shows how much we miss Silva. Yes, he’s past it but without him theres no composure, no build up play, no organisation, no direction. He makes everyone else better.

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Look it’s become clear what the strategy of Boehly is. He’s tried to implement the American model i.e. a complete rebuild by investing in potential, whilst conceding that the club wont be successful for the foreseeable future. The hope is that in 3-4 years time things start coming together and the club can be a legitimate contender again. Boehly stated that European football was decades behind American sports. The difference is in America whether its the NBA, NFL or the MLB they have franchises that cant get relegated and remain profitable even if theyre at the bottom of the table. They have fans that will still attend games, buy the merchandise, enjoy a night out with all the added entertainment, music, cheerleaders, popcorn and candy floss; regardless of how the team is playing. They are not like football fans in Europe with passion and who demand results and walk out if their team is down 2-0 with 20 minutes to go. Its just complete arrogance, naivety and shortsightedness to think you can apply a foreign model to a completely different sport, league and culture thats well established and been going on well over hundred years with tried and tested models for success.

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Agreed, it will be like Leeds in 2004. If we go down we will have to sell our assets, players and the maybe even the bridge. We will have to rebuild with free agents and then probably get relegated again. Finally it will be insolvency and administration, there wont be any buyer the debts will be too high. Thing is based on our results for a year now this is a very real possibility.

This is the same in the NBA too…the Bulls have been rebuilding since 98

Biggest load of BS ive ever heard. The last few years with Roman we won the champions league and finished in the top 4 both years. He was a serial winner and Chelsea would have bounced back to win more trophies or the very least compete at the highest level in the future. We are way worse now than Roman, with a strategy doomed to fail, downgraded in all department from players through to the backroom staff through to the incompetent directors. Chelsea will be languishing mid to bottom of the table with Boehly in charge, I can see relegation.

Chelsea v Aston Villa (PL) Sun 24th Sep 2023 14:00 GMT
This is a team of kids, lets be honest, theyre all kids. Its not their fault. The average age of teams winning the PL historically has been around 27 and ours is around 22. Boehlys idea to create a team of young high potential players will never work for three reasons…1. the majority of players with high potential wont and dont amount to anything 2. The tried and tested model is to blood in a few youngsters every year, like Man City, Liverpool, Barca, Real Madrid etc. not the whole squad. 3. If you concede you wont win anything for 4-5 years, you lose out on champions league football, revenue, reputation and no player wants to play for you. Boehly is the worst thing that could have ever happened to this club.

Im glad Mudryk is off, he was useless as usual…lost the ball most times he had it, cant be doing that at this level. He should go out on loan and then sold next summer! Park footballer.

Bournemouth v Chelsea (PL) Sun 17th Sep 2023 14:00 GMT
Lets take a look at the current levels of these players: Sanchez - Bottom half Gusto - mid table Disasi - Mid table Silva - Top half Colwill - Mid table Gallagher -Mid table Ugo - Relegation Enzo - Top 4 Mudryk - Relegation Sterling - Top half Jackson - Mid table The only players who arent playing that are top 4 standard are Reece James and NKunku. Even with those two playing we are still way short of a top four finish. So this performance should be expected. Gone are the days of Abramovich, we have new owners who are equally willing to splash the cash but on a different profile of player.
