Ah remember back to our game against them at the Bridge. That was an enjoyable game.

Win or lose up the Blues. BlueCo Out!

That game feels like it was long time ago and was probably our peak of the season. We have fallen dramatically since then. I am anticipating something similar to what we saw today unfortunately.

Maybe it is what we need. Maybe that is the only way the eyes of those who refuse to see will be finally opened.

Imo last time we played, the result was of course very good, the performance was ok but the game plan was insane. 2 v 2 at the back with crazy space, luckily we have Fofana and Colwill

Villa have Liverpool midweek. An advantage for us but we are so crap it won't even matter.

Yep, like having 6 days to prepare against a Brighton side that had already shown us how they setup to beat us.

I'd like to see more traditional wingers here if that changes anything. Neto Left. Sancho Right. Their predictability on top of how slow we move the ball seems to have nullified them in their inverted roles.

Villa are completely beatable. A win here + a win against Saints and Leicester and we may get some momentu- ahh f**k it who am I kidding.

Will be very lucky to get a point from this match form wise, but in this league and especially this season there's always hope- look at Ipswich vs Spuds, Wolves and us lot.

Defo should be looking to capitalise on their midweek game plus injuries. Their only available CB who is fit to play is Mings with the others ineligible or injured respectively.

Kamara who played at CB against Ipswich then gets injured in first half so they have a lot of injure concerns themselves. It may be that they try rush Konsa back for this game. If Kamara is out, that is a big bonus for us as especially when he is at his favoured DM role, he is a real force in there.

Anyway, big game for us this is. I hope them having a game in week works out for us because after this game we have two PL fixtures against relegation candidates at home that I expect us to win so if we can start of with a win here then go a on a little run then hopefully things look good again.

It shows the situation we’re in that everyone is looking for things like them having a midweek game, having no fit defenders or a freak yachting accident wiping out their entire squad as necessary for us to be able to get anything. 1.5 billion well spent!

We move the ball too slow and have no striker.

We aren't captilizing anything unless a shift in the matrix happens.

If they could nip over to Basran for a friendly that’d be good.

(This is a Roy of the Rovers reference for the many confused people)

Excuse the grammar , Old age

Difficult team to beat at their place and they are disappointed not to have beaten Pool yesterday. If they play as well I wouldn’t be surprised if they scored at least 2 or 3 against us.

Going to hope that they forget to mark Palmer and hope for a draw.

On the plus side, only the bottom three have kept fewer clean sheets than Villa this season, so we'll at least have half a chance to get on the score sheet ... even with our current options !

Brighton conceded 7 the week prior and the most we could muster up as far as a shot on target, was a poor cross from Palmer....
