  1. Doesn’t look like we need his goals anymore? And at a detriment to our midfield balance with him huffing and puffing around and misplacing passes. I still can’t believe City actually signed the guy.. when Real Madrid humbled him, and PSG couldn’t give a toss, it looked so bleak. City ACTUALLY being interested was precious, as there were no other takers (and never would have been). It overshadows tapping up Poundland-pep for me.
  2. Couldn’t risk it, nor the bad blood with City. Last season it felt like we were stuck with him, due to the fee, wages, book value left etc, and most importantly.. it wasn’t even conceivable a club would take him. Maresca to City was our miracle. Missing out on Camara is a tragedy, but if you told me ‘in the trenches’ of last season and before when this thread was blowing up match day after match day (for the wrong reasons) we would somehow manage to offload him for a record fee, but… be short in midfield until January, most of us would have taken that!
  3. Only way we’re doing/trying to do business with them again is if they sack whoever was involved, which is looking like Thiago Scuro their CEO. Monaco are in a deficit and needed one of these sales to go through, so hopefully some heads will roll, and we can get a clean slate with the club. Otherwise, looking like Camara is a Liverpool player, despite the fact he was HERE, doing the medical, probably posed with the number 8 shirt for the official photo’s 🤦‍♂️
  4. Finally getting their revenge for Caicedo and Lavia. Thing is why would it even need to be more money, if we’re not going to deal with Monaco again. Just paying more for the sake of it with no competition. Strange one.
  5. That midget Barco was awful in his cameo against Brighton, Essugo is awful full-stop, we’ve absolutely f**ked it until January. Despite it being our fault for leaving it so late, if there’s signatures involved, who knows maybe it can go to CAS…
  6. f**k. After all the co-signs, was fully sold on this one.. devastating end to what has been a great window.
  7. If French football expert Seb says so, I’m fully sold.
  8. No way any football people have signed off on it as a standalone deal, without this just being how Mudryk loan gets done, which is the only way it becomes logical on their part. Absolute madness either way.
  9. Playing like it’s a World Cup 3rd place play-off. Palmer not having a great game, yet still being able to pull the rabbit out the hat like he did for the goal, is a great sign.
  10. The chief commercial officer is a Chelsea fan by the looks of his posts.
  11. Really despise checkered design, looks like a patchy gym mat layout. These are early predications (god knows how footy headlines conjure these up so early), won’t have the full badge again though, unlike the mockup.
  12. Footy HeadlinesChelsea 27-28 Home Kit Info Leaked + Early PredictionUpdate - Wednesday, August 26, 2026: Kit insider grhaer9 has created an early prediction of the Nike Chelsea 2027-2028 home kit.Well, next seasons shirt is an absolute write-off already ffs. Horrendous.
  13. On a side note, how ridiculous is the Henderson injury situation, as NOW is the time for him to get minutes, suppose there’s the early rounds of the FA Cup later on but still. Emegha not sharp enough for minutes it would seem, shouldn’t be at the club this season, absolute farce really. And you’d think if Neto’s departure was imminent he wouldn’t be playing, so that’s a setback.
  14. Again, fair play to the board, actually thought they’d wait until January at least. Just hope Ben Roberts doesn’t cause issues internally, work place politics in general and favouritism don’t suddenly stop at football clubs.
  15. Despite looking like one of those custom players you design and edit yourself on Fifa, whereas you make them extra small and super skinny for a joke, he was decent today, bigger tests to come but nonetheless.
  16. Palmer full 90…. Tuchel in the crowd…. Has to be some correlation there. Hope he’s fresh for Brighton
  17. Palmer limping a little before the goal, get him off ffs.
  18. ‘Offered’ to Chelsea, wouldn’t say it’s a nothing-burger, but as headlines go, Ornstein not exactly lifting the lid on anything. Sanchez has so much backing here, and he’s practically tied to the goalkeeping coach we hired, you can imagine a lot of cool heads on the board thinking he’ll turn it around after a bad start, and stick to the Penders plan. Martinez/aging keeper was clearly never part of the plan, this would be panic button stuff (not that the original plan was all that) just think they’ll pussy out.
  19. The goalkeeper market is atrocious and Martinez isn’t the answer. Seen mentions of Simon (of Bilbao) had a good World Cup, good with his feet/sweeping but shot stopping is just alright, and being a ‘basque’ player with ‘reportedly’ no release clause, they’ll want Kepa money. Probably why there’s been zero links of him going anywhere, that, and the fact he simply isn’t elite. And once an ‘elite’ keeper emerges… we’ll have competition from Real Madrid and others for such a talent, given the ages of the only decent keepers around these days being 30+. Sigh.
  20. 6 non-penalty goals last season. Baffled as to why Barcelona think he’s worth that much, and would be the most unnecessary signing for us since Felix.
  21. Too good to be true, no doubt either in January or next summer, we’ll be taking someone off their hands for above market value.
  22. I believe Ben Jacob’s was the first to report it, then BBC/Telegraph/Athletic and the rest jumped on it. Earlier on in the window Ornstein reported Al-Halil wanting him for £60m.
  23. The way we were flying into challenges was a real concern early on, Colwill was on a yellow and he was shoving people to the ground, can see discipline being an issue again. Why oh why are we demanding £100m for Neto, we should be accepting anything! Absolute lunacy.
  24. Oh my lord。 😅 number 9 curse ey….
