Devils advocate a trifle….Wembley, Twickenham, Spurs, West Ham, all vying for non football pay days. Should we go big and redevelop we are entering a very complétive market. In terms of hoovering up match day food and drink expenditure- Tottenham is a total sh*thole- always has been, always will be. Very little outside the ground options- unlike us who despite recent pub/ restaurant closures, still have by far the most licensed premises on our doorstep than any other club.

Well behind the curve and watching All or Nothing- Spurs under Jose from a few years back. Fantastic stadium which cost according to the internet 1.2 Billion. It gets used for various non football activities such as NFL- Spurs, once again according to the internet- Wikipedia- are Europe’s most indebted club to the tune of 1.17 Billion. The cost of the stadium give or take. They are also known to be comparatively stingy- lowest wages in the old top 6 and Levy tough negotiator. Point being, all for bigger stadium, so better chance of fans watching the team, but can’t for the life of me see how it makes financial sense.

Wasn’t there myself but I believe loads spent the weekend in Blackpool. When Wembley was in transition and finals were played in Cardiff, many of us spent an enjoyable couple of days in Weston Super Mare or Porthcall.

Yes knew the Pollards Oak. CFC pub. Some good thieves there, who had an inside track of going’s on at London City Aiirport. Briefly lived in between buying and selling houses, with my brother who lived on Mitcham Lane, Streatham- opposite the Park Tavern- another Pikey: Chelsea stronghold.
