  1. I still have no faith in BlueCo but finally a real soccer manager arrives, and he's definitely one of the best...IMHO the best for us. I'm sure that with him our Zombies who have been on the field lately will also come back to life next year.
  2. Harsh but absolute truth! The difference between Maresca and Rosenior is that no one ever even told the latter they were a genius... Rosenior, more than a huge coach, will be remembered as the hug coach.
  3. Probably now BlueCo will decide to exercise the "satisfied or refunded" option and return Rosenoir to Strasbourg. Now the question is, will they give us Gary O'Neil, or simply a "voucher for the purchase of No. 1 coach", spendable on any team owned by BlueCo?
  4. We have simply become a sad team with lazy players applying the schemes of a manager devoid of any charisma. It is essentially a mirror of our current property. There is a lack of any attachment to the idea of what Chelsea represented. Unfortunately, going forward like this risks sinking.
  5. As I wrote at half-time, it was a match we could recover and even win, but not on tactical merit. And so it was. I don't give Rosenior any particular responsibilities but neither do I give any particular merits. IMHO, luckily for us, we have some outstanding footballers who can change games. PS It won't interest anyone but Sampdoria today also won in a similar match with a goal in the 90°
  6. I didn't see the Napoli match but all the others from the Rosenior era, they were probably the worst since I've been a regular Chelsea follower. We look like a Championship team at times. We could probably even draw it or even win it but certainly not on tactical merit. Garnacho obviously needs to be replaced immediately because he is not well.
  7. Excellent result, little more than enough everything else. Our luck was that Crystal Palace forgot to return to the pitch in the second half. After their goal it was no longer a Premier League match but a National League match...IMHO for Rosenior there is a lot but a lot to work and for us a lot to be patient.
  8. If it was the first time I saw Chelsea play, I would think that the players, except the goalkeeper (LOL), do not play in their natural position. There is great confusion. It will probably get better later, but for now I regret Maresca. P.S. If Caicedo comes back on the pitch in the second half, we will soon play with 10 men again.
  9. Right first (in Premier)! I like Rosenior. He has the same happy expression I would have if I managed Chelsea...but for now I still haven't understood how we play. The advantage is that we can only improve.
  10. Today is three years. It seems like much more time has passed...💙 I chose this photo because the banner at the base of the Gradinata Sud says: "BECAUSE IT TIES A THREAD TO US" Selfishly, that's also what I think of the story between Vialli, Sampdoria, Chelsea...and me.
  11. My two cents...I'm an old-fashioned supporter...that hug to our fans after the 1-1 goal against City, is worth more than any technical consideration. 💙
  12. I don't think any of us liked the operation itself, but we've already talked about it extensively. Six years of contract, based on nothing, then it's absolutely crazy. But the profile of the Rosenior is interesting, we hope that he will surprise us positively and that above all he will do the good of Chelsea and not just that of the current owners.
  13. I agree about Motta (he's not up for us) and I also agree with your last thought...but it's probably too late now
  14. Today Chelsea, our Chelsea, needs us. As long as the supporters sing, Chelsea will exist. So, regardless of everything, COME ON CHELS! 💙
  15. The question I've had in my head for two days is: Wasn't there a manager without a contract, better or at least with more experience than Rosenior with whom to reach an agreement, with any renewal clauses, until June? The property would have had 6 months to calmly find a coach, perhaps Rosenior himself. I probably already know the answer, so when Rosenior arrives, for the sake of our Chelsea, long live Rosenior...
  16. I wish I was there with you. They are killing football as we understood it and not just in England. Chelsea has simply become a marketable brand in every part of the world. Our traditions, our History, our chants, do not interest any of the new fans scattered throughout the USA, Japan or anywhere on the planet. Chelsea is just a winning brand, even if they don't win anything anymore...a bit like historic NFL franchises. My dream? To return to being, even through some suffering, a real football club run by competent and passionate people...in a word to return to being the CFC.
  17. It's a very well written article and, unfortunately, very clear.
  18. In that case I was happy...😉
  19. As I had written a few days ago, the situation with Maresca was clearly compromised. Continuing until the end of the season with him would have been devastating for everyone. So right the decision...but wrong not to already have a replacement up to the task, even if only for the next 6 months. PS My two cents, I would try to take Farioli...yes another italian coach but no so italian.😇 Obviously I don't know if he's ready for Chelsea yet but he is young but already has good international experience and makes his teams play well.
  20. For 60 minutes it was our best match this season. I hate to admit it but Maresca made some mindless changes as an Italian coach, made only to change someone but not something. He didn't even try to get Palmer to play with Estevao and he put on the pitch Delap, clearly out of shape and whose attitude I didn't like even at the end of the match. Anyway, it is clear that something has finally cracked and that Maresca is currently in a selfish confusion. P.S. It's unbearable that Sky's microphones are placed under the Villa supporters section. Our choirs/songs were never heard.
  21. My two cents. (sorry for my english) There are good individualities in Italian teams, almost all foreign, but Italian soccer has neither quality, nor pace and nor intensity. It no longer even has that tough defensive phase that once distinguished it. So losing to an Italian team at this historic stage, more or less, is equivalent for a team like Chelsea, to having lost to a Belgian team like Malins (Mechelen) thirty or more years ago. Why do I say this? Because our defeat yesterday is probably the result of a presumptuous attitude that led us to play at a low level. And when you stoop too low to your opponent's level (it's also a rule of life) he defeats you with his experience playing at low levels. I have always defended Maresca but surely the biggest fault of what happened yesterday is his. But it's also true that the players go on the pitch and not him. I can't forget about Atalanta's second goal, when a player (very good) like Cucurella stepped back into the penalty area, giving De Keteleare the chance to shoot unopposed. Evidently, ours is still an immature team, and this is not related to the age of the players. Last year the crisis came when, having started without any objectives, and we found ourselves in second place. This year the crisis came after "walking" with Barcelona, and a great match played with Arsenal. Now Everton is coming...and we need to unite because the season is still long and very open and it's not a given that our players emerge from the torpor that has enveloped them, and return to give us so much satisfaction.
  22. Important (crucial) match where we will have to prove that we are a definitively mature team, above all after the great match against Barcelona...and I am very confident. IMHO Premier must remain our main focus. Let's go Chels! 💙
  23. Just bad memories. I hate them all! COME ON CHELS LET'S PAVE THEM!!!
  24. I am a supporter of Maresca but today I did not like his decisions. We won because we have a great team (and that's very good news) but we suffered too much against the poorest team we've played until today. In my humble opinion, playing an excellent Premier League must be our first objective and therefore the best team must always take to the pitch. Anyway, we won...let's enjoy it!
