BBC has it as Martinez Fofana - Lacroix - Colwill Gusto - Lavia - Palmer - Hato Neto - Rogers Joao Pedro. I think we're all guessing though. Something ive already noticed is that defensive positions seem fairly fluid in the build up, so who knows. Its defensively i'd be worried about, don't think the understanding is there yet for everyone to be so comfortable filling in where needed

Thats a pen. Cant pull someone's shirt like that. No VAR tonight?

Emiliano Martinez
Literally took Alonso one game to bin off Sanchez. Like the guy more every day that passes

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
You'd hope he wouldn't be particularly busy against Luton at home

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
My only concern with dropping him, is the pressure it puts on Penders. If he cracks under that pressure we really are screwed

Would rest caicedo if hes had a knock. Stick essugo in there. Agree with the rest

Pedro Neto *Official*
I saw this last night. Watched him not track back and was glad to see reece give him some after bailing him out. Didn't notice the sshhhh, thought he just said something back. If this is how he reacts to someone finally setting standards he should be shown the door.

Did you confuse joao pedro with pedro neto twice? I can maybe understand once when speaking, but twice while typing?! 🤣

Positives - going forward, looks like the shackles are off and no pointless passing for passing sake. Negatives - defending, can be coached, and caicedo will make a difference. Look really light in there without him

A decent keeper and we're going in 2-0 up and cruising. I guess plan is for penders to play Thursday. No clangers and you'd hope he plays the next league game

Palestra and Caicedo must be injured

Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Not that they've been very reliable so far, but the bookies have shrunk his odds down again. Best price is 4/6 on him moving to city now, most have him 1/2

City played Guehi in midfield yesterday. Maresca sending a message already?

Jackson transfer
Just need to start taking the hits on these players, move them on permanently at a loss if needed and start fresh. Although that would mean some people would have to take accountability for overpaying for dross in the 1st place

Jackson transfer
I'm still confused as to why the players go there. I know its obscene money, but they are already on obscene money. If someone in Saudi offered to triple my salary I'd be there before sunset, but thays because trippling my salary would be life changing. It would still only bring me to what most of these guys earn in England per week, let alone per year. I get football careers are short, but they all earn enough to set generations of their family up for life

Random Rumours
Villa just signed a new number one and Martinez to Juventus fell through and they've got vicario. Martinez worth a punt for a few years? Obvious upgrade on sanchez

The Mourinho Netflix Documentary
On the whole Eva thing. Jose was wrong, and JT was wrong to defend him. I didn't think this was a controversial opinion. Have the conversation in private later, or blame Hazard for staying down to get treatment if he didn't actually need it. Although watching the doc and seeing the tackle again, it was quite a nasty hit and fall.

Pedro Neto *Official*
I dont get it either. His ability to do a couple of step overs, fake a cross, do another step over, fake a run, do a cruyff turn, fake another cross, then turn around and play it safely back to a defender, killing all attacking momentum, is irreplaceable.

He had the best team in the league at Leicester and still played his dull, boring football to the point Leicester fans were pleased to see him go. The trophies he won at Chelsea both have massive caveats attached. The conference league would have been embarrassing not to win, in the same token as Leicester, he had the best team in the competition by a mile. The club world cup we can go back and forth on, but in my personal opinion its nothing more than a glorified pre season friendly competition. Now let's look at City vs Arsenal. Lots of aimless sideways and backwards passing for passings sake. Granted its a small sample size, but its exactly what I expect to see from City this season.
