oh yh me and cfc jamie are brothers really!! get a grip people, just becuase we dont agree with what your saying because you think van der vaart is gods gift (and why do you keep saying he has pace, he had no pace last night)..... he reminds me of malouda a little bit.....no pace, no skill but has a half decentl left foot so he gets overated. i think i would look good in the hamburg team....i watched them in champions league last year and van der vaart didnt really stand out to me so i really dont want him at our club but that is my opinion and other people have there opinion but i dont agree with i will agree to disagree.

so what have you based you opinion on then mate? have you got hamburg tv or something? or maybe the best of van der vaart on youtube or something like that so i hope our scouting system is a little more diligent!

haha i agree that we should never question some-one opion but if anyone in their right mind thinks van der vaart is gonna make us a better team is obviously not watching the same football as me. gem you said we need someone with pace and creative ability- sorry but van der vaart has neither! he looks a little overweight and in big games like last night he was poor. be honest...all you van der vaart fans...how many times have you actually seen him play. i havent seen him play until euro 2008 but i think he hasnt been great! im not saying that he isnt a good player and might be a good player but for a player who plays for hamburg, how much have you seen of him or are you basing he is a good player on his reputation?

sorry but i dont really see what van der vaart does in a game. he flickers in and out of a game and for me, there are alot better options for us! i watched him in group games and he was ok but nothing great and then i watched him yesterday and he was poor in a big game....i think he may be a player that doesnt do it at the biggest stage..hence why he looks good in a hamburg team!! arshavin would be a quality signing as he is techniquely really good and two great feet with pace,eye for a pas and a good finish and very passionate. does anyone else agree with me that van der vaart is ok as a player but there are better options for us!

yh but they didnt have anywhere near the luxurys that we have now....thats what people seem to forget......before the russina took over we we in so much debt and had players like gronkjaer and de lucas so to win a cup winners cup and fa cup with the little resources we had was tremendous!! answer me this....if mourinho was manager before abramovich come in, would we had won the league twice in a row!

haha im a massive chelsea fan and not trying to wind you up......... funny how joe cole since mourinho has left is playing alot better than he ever did under mourinho. dont get me wrong mourinho was a good manger for 2 seasons but all im saying is people seem to forget that for the past 1 and half seaosns, we were poor and people keep going on about the titles we won but that was over 2 years ago and things changed alot after that. example, getting outplayed by aston villa away, drawing at home to blackburn and rosenborg to name but a few! like i said, im not saying mourinho wasnt good for our club, he was a legend but for people to keep signing his name and wanting him back was pathetic as he wasnt that special!!. can i also ask....who does everyone want to be new manager as i certainly dont want mancini.....! and why are we taking so long to appoint a manager??

I really dont know why somany people wanted jose mourinho back at chelsea and why we cant get over him and why we kept singing his name all last season. It seems like everyone thinks mourinho is god but he is far from that. Fair enough he won the league two years in a row and a couple of fa cups but i personally think that he wasnt that great a manager and this is why. when we won the league the first time around we had brilliant wingers in duff and robben (neither of which mourinho bought), and players like gudjohnson etc and we played some good football. But in the second season wasnt as great as duff was sold and we played more methodical football and just scrapped through games winning 1-0 alot. now that cant last season after season as has been shown. now the season after that we had a poor team and played football how mourinho would play...keep it nice and tight and when we get a goal in front, make sure that we defend that. Now in the first season when we won the league we would thrash teams and really score as many goals as possible but last season and the start of this season was really poor for entertainment and goals scored (proved by facts) and manchester united have shown everyone how to play football. Dont get me wrong, mourinho had his qualities but my biggest disappointment with him was his signings and who he let go. Bought-ben haim,malouda(who is useless),sidwell,pizzaro,smertin,ballack,wright phillips,maniche,boulahrouz etc Sold-robben,duff,gudjohnson,joe cole(took away all his skill) etc Now to me that shows that he wanted of get rid of any creative that was at the club and replace by players that work hard for the team and do a job now in my opinion, we are paying for that stragey as now we have not 1 creative player at the club and are alwyas linked with at least 10 a day. Why didnt mourinho bring in somecreative players instead of sidwell, pizzaro and malouda. becuase thats now how he wanted to play football. dont get me wrong he bought good players but he has bought good players but also bought some very ordinary players and i for one was pleased when he left as for the past season and a half we were rubbish (rosenborg 1-1 as 1 of many examples) and this season proved we can better football AND get results and I look forward to the next season. Going to inter is perfect for him as they play the same we do, unattractive but effetive. PLEASE DONT GET MANCINI. bring back the good days with vialli and gullit where we won titles on a shoestring budget!! Whats your opinion if you could be bothered to read all that lol?

i must admit im not thrilled with the signing as we need decent wingers and forward thinking players! what players does everyone want chelsea to buy? i have always liked ricardo quaresma and is the closest thing to ronaldo that is actually available? what do people think?
