What does everyone think of rijkaard apparently being lined up to be our new boss and grant going back to his previous role?

Who does everyone want to see as our new boss next season?

dont want the spitty little sh*t at chelsea. especially after all the crap he sputed during the games between us and barca. unless he brings messi and iniesta of course..... icon_lol.gif

who ever is boss it needs sorting as soon as possible

if grant is staying then he needs to prepare

if someone else is coming in as manager they need to prepare

what i dont want to see is grant staying and then sacked after a few games into the season, if things go wrong

I just want it sorted out one way or another.

Grant stays and he gets to prepare for the new season.

Grant gets booted upstairs immediately and a new coach is hired.

I also don't want Grant getting turfed out about 6 games into a season because things go wrong.

given that we have already started strengthening for next year it has to be hoped that this been sorted already the transfer either sanctioned by Grant or his successor whoever it may be

I wouldn't mind having Grant here next season but i can see him going upstairs into a different role, I would love to see Marcello Lippi and it's a possiblity im not sure on Rijkaard though.

I'd rather have Grant than Rijkaard.

I never thought I'd say this...but, I totally agree! Even though I believe we can and must do better than Grant, I certainly don't want Rijkaard. He, as manager, has been doing nothing else but changing players on the pitch and sticking with the same bloody tactics and formations!

We already have somebody doing the same! 247.gif

if we win the CL i think grant will go back upstairs to his old job but i dont want rijkaard either hes aleeady lost control of one team we donnt need that

I reckon Hiddink's the man, Bluenut, but I'm just praying Roman does too. When it comes to the concept of total football and being steeped in its roots, Hiddink is the Daddy of them all - not only in terms of age, but, more importantly, experience.

I just want it sorted out one way or another.

I think we should wait until the end of the season before we make a decision either way (or at the very least not make the decision official by informing anyone until after the Champions League final).

hes exactly the kind of manager i would love to see at chelsea, and ive a feeling hes what roman would like too. young, enthusiastic, good reputation etc.. plus i think players would like to play for him.

Well, the much awaited rumor about Mancini coming to CFC is beginning to gather pace:

I say...why not?!

I say...WHY THE HELL HIM? MANCINI OF ALL?

Agreed, he may have been one of the best player of his times, but he is clearly not one of the best managers around.

He has never managed European success with Inter and look at the boring football Inter play!

However, I'm all for Laudrup as our new manager. icon_wink.gif

I don't think getting Mancini would improve us as a team. He spent loads of money and only managed to win Serie A when Juve were relegated and AC Milan were docked points.

His poor CL showing is another cause for concern and Inter's playing style is not something i enjoy watching.

...and Inter's playing style is not something i enjoy watching.

Do you enjoy Chelsea's playing style under Grant?

I thought you said it was still Jose's team.

Just because our football isn't great to watch now, isn't a reason to hire a manager we know isn't going to improve us stylewise.

Couldn't agree more,he was an absolute Rolls Royce of a player, and now he manages the same way,if we can prise him away from la liga, with Kun Aguero from the same league,i for one would be a happy chappy
