Deco would not be in my starting 11 and my biggest complaint would be that he just comes across as too light weight, giving the ball away too often and (anelka included) i dont like to see player wear gloves or tights BUT as with a cetrtain expensive Russian player we had as an option, i cannot fault his work ethic nor his professionalism. he does not complain, he does not undermine the squad and is not content to take a fat paycheck i shudder when he is announced as a starting player but his dignity deserves our respect. the manager has to choose who plays and in what circumstance. Deco does not deserve our poison. i hope some one comes in for him and he does well wherever he goes but i dont want him starting for us and i would rather some of the younger players get a chance for the 20 minute slots

I know its early BUT i come home from China for a week in August and i will be able to get to the Sunderland game. I thought with it being a Tuesday night that someone may not be able to make it up there and can let me buy their tickets. i want to take my son so i am looking for two tickets. if anyone can help then please reply otherwise i will be doing my normal trick on a return to England and be standing outside the away fans entrance praying it was not a wasted journey :-) dicko

100% spot on. why oh why is quasimodo not coming on to give us width. not complaining about the midfield build up play but city are there for the taking. dont want to be hanging on by one goal. city cannot be that bad in the 2nd half - can they?

Hi My girlfriend and I have come over from Shanghai for christmas and hoping to catch a couple of games. I can buy tickets on the day at Everton easily enough but driving down to london from leeds to try and blag a pair of tickets on boxng day is a bit of a risk! if anyone cannot make the game and can sell me a couple of tickets for the west brom game then that would be perfect - anywhere in the ground will do.' could even pick them up at the everton game if that works.

Strange to see Belleti starting ahead of Deco in what is another really important game. That said, i agree 100% and I hope big phil rewards the players that have worked so hard and played with control and fluidity in recent games. Ricardo will at least be on the bench after playing last night. The outstanding player for me has been Mikel. Not as obvious as a fresh lampard, a more competitive malouda, a prowling boswinga but just a consistent, simple and assured display (forgetting about the long shots) from a classy player. What a great game to look forward to and as long as the same Chelsea turns up as in recent games then even liver fools luck wont save them. if we can just beat them and sow the seeds of doubt with them about 'are they really good enouh' then the season could turn on this game for them. yeah, like others, i am nervous already

think we should take some time out for the referee. these guys can really influence the pattern of a game and tight games can be unhinged on some dodgy decisions. he had a great game today and really tried hard to let the game flow. he did not see himself as centre stage and allowed the players to get on with it. was one of the linesmen a girl?
