ozboy Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Even though we play away to borough on the 18th the game against Lpuddle is shaping up as one of the main games this season. Here's hoping we can keep our form and shape in that one.
Gem Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I didn't buy a ticket for this one, the thought of going and seeing us lose... I'd need bail money if I ever got my hands on a scum fan.
Alan Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I'll be dragging myself up from Chatham for this, wouldn't miss it for the world.
Gem Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Thats the attitude to have Alan, I'm afraid I just don't have the ability to control myself if the worse was to happen.
bonetti Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I would not miss the opportunity to sing 'you are sh*t' to the 'best supporters in the world'
Tim W Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I would not miss the opportunity to sing 'you are sh*t' to the 'best supporters in the world' I'm starting to turn green already
Alan Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Thats the attitude to have Alan, I'm afraid I just don't have the ability to control myself if the worse was to happen. Equally so, being at the Bride when we beat them is brilliant. The 2-0 win in 2006 and the 3-2 in 2008 were amazing.
midlandblue Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Equally so, being at the Bride when we beat them is brilliant. The 2-0 win in 2006 and the 3-2 in 2008 were amazing. Hey everyone Alan's getting married, he's found himself a Bride. Many Congratulations.
loz Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I'm not looking past Boro! Always make it hard for us (well apart from a couple of cup finals!) and the team that benefited from possibly the worse day at the office (from a personal performance perspective ) that Jose ever had as a Chelsea manager.
Alan Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Hey everyone Alan's getting married, he's found himself a Bride. Many Congratulations. I got so excited reminiscing that I momentarily lost the ability to type there
TomP Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 A nice 3-0 to us would put them back in their place.
c3blu Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Alan, your new birde wont be to happy if you are struggling to find the 'G' on the key board, what chance have you got with her? As for those scouse scum bags, i cant wait. I'd love to not only beat them but to stuff them big time and rub it right in their fcuking faces.
moi Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I got so excited reminiscing that I momentarily lost the ability to type there :D Typing one-handed when you're excited is never a good idea.
Mr Chelsea Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 we got boro away the week before and roma midweek before the scousers arrive all been well we will have cleared all but a couple off our injury list and give them a good hammering, like we did villa
coco Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Chelsea Vs Liverpool - Sun 26th 13:00PM UK Our form coming into the Roma Liverpool games has been immense considering our injury list, confidence will be sky high, players are returning to the fold, and Liverpool have no Torres. Felipe Vs Bennyboy Cant wait for battle to commence. KTBFFH
midlandblue Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Plus, they will be returning from Spain after being well beaten and with injuries (we can but hope) looking forward to watching the game on the box with some friends and a shed load of larger. only one question.....which larger?
bonetti Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 OK - half-full here We still have to sort Roma with no further injuries Middlesboro were absolutely f**king woeful Dont believe Benny the Ball - Torres could suddenly 'get better' But, if we do the scouse scum - I will be the happiest man on this planet
Chelsea FC Champions Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Chelsea target Liverpool match for shock Drogba returnBy Jason Mellor Last updated at 12:11 PM on 20th October 2008 Didier Drogba could make a surprise return against Liverpool next Sunday. It was initially feared the Chelsea striker would be out until the middle of next month after suffering knee ligament damage in the Champions League game with Cluj a fortnight ago. But Drogba has made excellent progress and although Wednesday’s match with Roma is too soon, the Ivory Coast international could feature in the Premier League’s clash of the top two at Stamford Bridge. Ballack, Drogba Elbowing his way back: Drogba (right) could be in for a shock return against Liverpool, while team-mate Michael Ballack (left) faces a lengthier stint ion the sidelines Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari said: 'In a week I should have Drogba — and that’s something I’m happy about.' Drogba has not scored this season after making just three starts, with his last Premier League game coming in a 2-0 victory at Stoke at the end of last month. But Scolari insists, if the striker is fit, he would have no hesitation in playing him next weekend. He said: 'I hope he’s in good condition for the Liverpool match. I’ll make a decision on him nearer the game.' John Terry and midfielder Deco returned for the injury-hit leaders as they thumped Middlesbrough 5-0. Two goals from Salomon Kalou and others from Juliano Belletti, Frank Lampard and Florent Malouda gave the Blues, missing seven first team players, the perfect tonic. Scolari added: 'What I was most pleased about was the strength of our squad and the way the players who I brought in performed and showed I can call on them when needed.'
midlandblue Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Having Drogba back would be a huge boost. Against Borro, the commentator said at 3-0 the only thing missing was a Lampard goal, no mention of Anelka not being on the score sheet because I dont think anybody expects that much from him. However, if Drogba had been playing do you realy believe that we would have scored 5 without Drogba being on the score sheet? no way.
coco Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 -------------Cech------------- Bosingwa--Alex--Terry--Bridge -------------Mikel------------- ------Belletti-----Lampard----- --Kalou--------------Malouda-- ------------Anelka------------ Subs: Carlo, Ivanovic, Ferreira, Mancienne, Deco, Di Santo, Drogba.
midlandblue Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Deco came on and played on Saturday, 45 mins on Wed. so should start aginst Liverpool.
Mod Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 I really want to see Drog come back and do the business again, but.. Trying to get him fit for the Liverpool game may not be ideal. He will need some games to get back into it (he still looked rusty the last time when he was getting match fit again) and would rather play Anelka if it meant we could have a match-ready Drogba next month. On the flipside, we know how Drogba likes playing against the dippers, maybe it's what he needs to get back into it.
