Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Hear hear! And, more importantly, it was that same 'football purist' attitude that helped Jose out the door the first time. It can not be allowed to happen again.

John Terry news conference
And it can hardly be called logic. The poster you referenced is no different to the bottom feeder journos who twist a man's words knowing all too well the largely illiterate public will lap it up. Just goes to prove the old adage that newspapers are written to appeal to the lowest common denominator of human intelligence. That post is proof the newspapers are in no danger of going out of business.

Chelsea vs Blackburn (Prem) 21/03/10 16:00 KO GMT
I told my mates watcing the game with me that I almost hoped we didnt score first because then we'll sit back and let them back in it. Hindsight turned out right this time, but it's really odd having that feeling before kick off. Anyone else having that same feeling?

LOL! The mate's code. BJD, I say this with the utmost delicacy because I know you're hyper-sensitive to these matters, but if you got the hump with every one of your mates who slept with an ex you'd have no mates left, or maybe you've only had one partner. :D

I'm still amazed anyone feels Bridge has been wronged somehow. It's absolutely mind boggling reading the vitriol around the web...St Bridgey. And whilst he has done nothing wrong per se (at least up until quitting England in a fit of pique and refusing to shake JTs hand) it's incredible he's even considered as part of the story when it has nothing whatsoever to do with him. Pass the sick bag please!

PotD Edit: But I don't believe booing Bridge, no matter how ridiculous he's behaved, was right.

Whats happened to JT?
I think the point BJD and Bridgeboy are trying to emphasize is JT's performances since he's been dropped as England captain. Sure, when it all first broke he still seemed alright, possibly because he knew he'd already spilled the beans to Toni. However, since he lost the armband his performance's have been particularly worrying, especially as he is the type of player that relies on his mental skills (ie reading the game) moreso than physical. Have to say Loz hit it on the head that Carlo should be picking the team based on form, no matter if you're captain or not. We do not have enough points in the bag to simply hope JT comes round soon enough. PS - JT was partly at fault for the first goal yesterday when Tevez turned him so easily on a 50/50 ball - shades of Louis Saha doing the same at Goodison. That said, Hilario, once the saviour of Stamford Bridge against the mighty Barfelona, was inexcusable for his half hearted attempt at a dive. :)

Link please. As I recall never stating anything about knowing such but being vehemently against it (although The Spitter would have been a massive improvement over Grant as subsequent events have shown) PS - Nice non-sequitur :)

Nice analogy Chippy, unfortunately it isn't even remotely synonymous with the set up in question. Well, it does have 4 people involved, but aside from that...

1. 6 months is not a short amount of time. 6 Hours, 6 Days maybe. 6 months, no way. 2. Bridge was dumped because HE was shagging around whislt he was with her! So obviously he wasn't that much "in love" now was he? 3. She was the team recepticle. It's probably easier to name who she wasn't sleeping with on Chelsea than to name who she was. If Bridgey was so upset, then why did he not take umbrage with these "mates" also? Or are you saying JT was his only true friend at Chelsea? This pseudo-morality is incredible double edged.

I use sarcasm because bjd (and now you) are attempting to promote your morality as somehow better, or more worthy, than those who disagree. It is about posession when you think that any woman you've been with should somehow be off limits to anyone else you're friends with. It's not only posessive, it's vindictive. Sure, if your mates don't go near your ex then fine. If they do, and you condemn them for it, then you are the one in the wrong - and there is no question abit it, you would be showing immense insecurty, as Bridge is doing right now. I agree wiht th eother posters that it's good he's dropped out of England as he is obviously too fragile of mind to be considered a professional, much less a man. I'll repeat one last time: the ONLY party who has legitimate reason for grievance is Toni Terry.

Has happened to me a few times and no, AS I WAS NO LONGER WITH HER, I didn't care. Has nothing to do wiht dignity mate. Has everything to do with moving on and the FACT that I have no say-so over who/what/where/when she does AFTER we're broken up. Do you get that? So, on one hand, my m8 is either just dipping his wick, or has some genuine feelings for her. In either case, good luck to him! He's still my mate. Now, if it happened while i was still with her, then that's different. How can you ssay something so mysoginstic and use the word respect in the same sentence? SHE IS NOT YOUR PROPERTY!!! There is no deed that must be signed over, no "permission" that must be sought before your maate can move in, she is back on the market full stop once you're relationship is over. Period. Nothing at all to do with respect. Also, what do you mean by "let it happen"? Are you gonna go round your mate's to give him a piece of your mind? I can see it now... bjd:Oi, you, yeah, I'm talkin to you mate bjd's mate: You alright bjd? bjd: No mate, I'm not. bjd's mate: why's that? bjd: Y'know that bird I was with 6 months ago, the one your'e shaggin now? Well, you need to **** off mate 'cuz I was just with her 6 months ago, yeah bjd's mate:....????? eh?
