I have belonged to this site, the official site and indeed a few others for some time. I rarely, if ever, post. I'm afraid I began to lose interest in the official site on the last revamp. After a while JAX announced that he was looking to 'update the site format' and asking for suggestions. I answered with a suggestion that he look at this site for ideas. If you were at work all day then who the hell wanted to scroll back a zillion posts !! I feel that the site had a clique of members, outsiders were frequently ignored or verbally abused. Chelsea is /has become an international brand. People from overseas were trying to join in the banter, and because their English was not up to scratch they often suffered verbal abuse. I do not visit this site on a daily basis. However when I have seen a supporter from abroad he/she are generally welcomed with an understanding from present members. The new site will not suit everyone, changes are rarely welcomed, but I feel that JAX has gone someway to altering some of the points I have made. The luddites will eventually accept it (does need a few changes here and there IMO) It's life .

For me the word Legend is used a bit to frequently. However, we all have our favourites, and I have no doubt that "the Bison" features in the legend list, already for many. Keep your mitts of !! Although unthinkable, I could bear the departure of A.Cole (Zhirkov is improving) but Nooooooooooooo Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy for Essien :D Says who !!

Way behind on this one :mellow: but being serious the best answer (if you can afford it) is get a Mac. I have a cyber and all but mine are PC's and at one stage or another all (but mine) have suffered a virus. The day will come when someone will hit mac with a virus but I bet it is way of yet. Normally I will not allow music sharing but gave way last week and loaded Ares for a customer (I have a mixture of ZA and Norton security suites) The next day I had to reformat the computer !!

Just a thought. I hate penalty shootouts in any competition, we saw what happened tonight and with Becks in the past. Everytime the subject comes up the answer is 'well what can you replace it with'. My suggestion. Almost all penalty shootouts are in cup competitions. So lets take the CL for example. After the group stages let the goal difference be the deciding factor. Most teams who progress beyond the group stages are no easy pushover. So if in this recent example lets use goals for and against and use the results as the deciding factor if a draw after normal and extra time is reached. It was introduced for attacking football in the premier league and I for one will not argue with that. Penalty shootouts are a lottery but everybody shouts that there is no alternative. Well I think there is. BTW I have not worked out how we would have stood so I am not showing any bias towards us.
