I used to visit a Chelsea forum a few years back, didn't post a lot but always enjoyed popping in, then all of a sudden it was no more,gone. Is this that site in a mk2 state? Asking because a lot of the personalities from back then are here in Shed End, also what was the name of the original site? I've been trying to remember since I found this site (too much beer, not enough neurons!)

Yes, because of the Wembley factor and it's Manu and Chelsea, and people have got withdrawal symptoms over the summer months, and new signings may be on show. think that's all!

Sorry, but apart from the Barca game you must have seen every game I missed, because try as I might I haven't seen that version of Ballack at SB or away.

I hoped Ballack would be off the end of the season, and would have to say I think he's been a disappointment during his stay. It seems you have to be a tactical expert to see all the subtle things he brings to the team and possibly because I am not tactically astute I fail to see any reason for a contract extension. Compare Ballack to Essien or Lamps who nearly always make a positive contribution to the team and he is sadly lacking, not really a defensive or attacking midfielder, not a playmaker or a tough tackling ball winner, we should get rid and buy a quality youngster or take a chance on one of our own young players.
