Yep, you keep the same number, 5pts for signing up before Jul 31, and last years points will count for the early season "marquee" games but a few games into the season become redundant.

As an aside,I went to see Corbett at the Hay festival, what a boring little twerp he was. If it wasn't for the great Ronnie Barker I'm sure no-one would have even heard of the pompous midget.

Saw the Specials first time round at Hastings, they'd been on the local news before banging on about the party atmos at their gigs and how they love people dancing on stage with them, so it was a bit odd that when a couple of people did get up on stage they stopped the gig until the stage was cleared, indeed it seemed to be any excuse to get off stage and eff off back to Brum. They've got a few half decent tunes but I thought they were a massive disappointment, that Terry Hall's a humourless twat too! Bad Manners, Selecter, Beat or Madness for me.

Good question. I guess it would have to be The Pistols and "never mind the b*ll*cks" from which the punk movement sprung.It was just so different to anything that had gone before.

I'm luckily of an age where i had the opportunity to see so many musical trends from Thin LIzzy to Clash and Madness to Rod Stewart, but the best (for me) was Sham 69 and Bad Manners, more than just gigs!
