The main difference is Essien can tackle and break up opposition attacks,which is something the DM position requires. Mikel's definately got talent but I've got serious doubts about where he's being asked to play.

I think you've just about hit the nail on the head, that's all the things I dislike about the game these days though the sit down point is by far the worst.

We get a coach down now, but when we used to drive we parked in Fulham Broadway underground carpark, you can't park much closer to the ground than that, always used to be spaces (just get there before they shut the road) and about £15 IIRC. But that was a few seasons ago and it might've changed.
