This thread makes me feel old and im only 26!

I remember seeing Green Day at the Astoria and Brixton during the Insomniac tour, and that was AGES ago.

Always awesome live though and Billy Joe is the perfect front man. Does he still do that thing where he gets Mike and Tre to jam whilst the audience chucks various items of clothing to him until he's wearing an totally new outfit, with 3 hats, 4 t-shirts etc..?

Got back from the gig on Tuesday night, and seen as I went to see Chelsea on the wednesday, I haven't had the chance to tell you all about it.

Easily. The. Best. Night. Of. My. Life.

It was incredible, Billie Joe is a genius.

Gem - how was the bit when they picked out a drummer/bassist/guitarist from the arena? Cause that was just amazing for me, the drummer was awesome, and the guitarist! Blimey, she walked down the walkway to the end and had an amazing solo! I was in total awe from that moment right to the end.

Wake Me Up When September Ends was the best bit for me, it's unbelievable totally acoustic.

New album, please Green Day?

Sorry Kids... Green day are OK but if you haven't seen the likes of Disorder, Conflict, Black Flag, The Bad Brains, UK Subs, Cockney Rejects, Angelic Upstarts, or Crass live in their heydays, then you haven't lived. I really wished I'd seen the ealy Libertines though, one of my big regrets.
