  1. Good lord. Posts like this leave me speechless. How ridiculous.
  2. This is a troll on a wind up I presume. If not, I hope you don't choose to go to the game, and perhaps you can give your ticket to a proper supporter.
  3. That's the spirit.
  4. State of some of these posts. No man is bigger than the club.
  5. I'll come back to you when Jose builds his first one then but until then I won't be holding my breath. He was in a mess and had no answers to it. The conduct of the players didn't help but ther was no way back for him and things would likely have got worse. You just can't compare the situation to something that happened with Fergurson a quarter of a century ago - its a different game now and the players hold all the power. I loved the guy just as much as you did it and just as much as everyone else did but the club called this one just right. Time to get up dust off and hopefully move forward with unity.
  6. Possibly true, but just look at the evidence regarding Jose. A dynasty was never going to happen, and never will with him unless he dramtically changes how he works (which he wont!). Same thing will happen in his next job.
  7. Thats as close to a perfect post as you will see. Take a bow. Apart from buying into the dynasty that sums up my feelings 100% right up to the Leicester game being the personal tipping point. It couldnt go on and its unquestionably the right decsion.
  8. I guarantee you Jose Mourinho will never rmanage another Chelsea match again. The club arent stupid and knew what they were getting into in 2013, what they didnt expect (what none of us expected) was the utter meltdown this season, and certainly the lack of answers to the meltdown. Wake up tommorow morning when the dust has settled and look at the league table and let it sink in. Its staggering. Mourinho may love Chelsea and may be a good fit but he has one way of working and it aint pretty. It gets results but it doesnt have if a shelf life. Once things go wrong there is no way back - and so it came to pass. He will never do more than 3 years anywhere, its impossible.
  9. Its impossible. Ive never bought into the 'dynasty' thing. And It simply cant happen with Jose. A brilliant manager but one with a shelf life. There will be no 'Mourinho dynasty' anywhere. His methods dicate this. In fact in this country i think we are obssessed with this type of thing because of Wenger and SAF. They are excpetions. 3-4 years in the norm for a football manager at any club these days no matter how big and how good you become... Look at Barcelona and Bayern for instance.
  10. Is the other thread locked now then ? I f**king loved Jose and will always consider him a legend, but anyone with half a brain cell should be able to see that this is for the best. It couldnt go on anymore. He'll get a rest and then be back to start his 3 year cycle somewhere else next Summer, whilst we pick up the pieces of this second coming. Its been toxic this season, worse than anything we've seen from him before. Its for the best, it really is.... Thanks for everything Jose you loved us and we loved you. You cared, and thats why we loved you, i think even more than the trophies.. But one thing is for sure, there aint going to be a 3rd act.
  11. The key word is interim. He is safe hands and knows the club. I assure you results with improve (how could they not). We may even get top half!
  12. Sam Wallace tweeting its Hiddink as interim. Safe move.
  13. Hes gone. Am i the first?! Sad, but for the best. Jose
  14. For sure. But Pardew isnt going to happen. Someone like Ramos is a short term realistic option, sadly. Ultimatley people should be careful what they wish for. But at the same time its also not hard to to think that Ramos would get better results from the current crop of players than Mourinho currently is.
  15. And therein lies the clubs dilemma. The candiates if they bin Mourinho just are not there. Ramos is realistic of what we can expect. Who else would people be expecting in December ? - Pep ? Klopp from Liverpool? Sir Alex Fergurson ? This is the reality. Whatever happens it aint gonna be pretty and aint gonna please anyone.
  16. Fair post G4. This bit inpartucalr is hard to argue with. I mean, If you go to work tomorrow and none of the staff want to work for the manager, for whatever reason, then there's a major problem and that is usually resolved by getting rid of the manager not the work force who are clearly capable of better things. Like i said some of those players are a disgrace but ultimatley this is football in 2015, the players hold the power. Even more so at Chelsea where the players know dam right exactly how to get rid of a manager they are done with. You don't lay off an entire workforce if the manager loses the ability to motivate, cajole and get results. The manager goes in any walk of life. And thats how this story will end.
  17. The question of backing Mourinho has never been in doubt for me. Everything he has done for the club has made that an easy choice. He more than anyone deserves this support. But I have to be honest, im starting to waver a little bit...backing him is one thing but having faith he will turn it round is something different altogether and this really cant go on any longer. Hes lost the players, or at least 60% of them. This means something will have to give and i think we all know how this one will play out. The attitude of some of those players is f**king disgusting and they should hang their head in shame (but wont). At the same time, Jose has to do more. He has to stop picking the same players that are letting him down every week. He needs to stop making excuses. He needs to stop not playing strikers against Bournemouth. Its over i fear and there is no coming back for him, not from this. How can there be ?
  18. Utter nonsense. And insulting too.
  19. If they were going to sack him he'd be gone by now. Most likey after the Liverpool match. I think whats saving him is the genuine lack of replacements out there.
  20. It was inevitable at some stage we were going to have a dodgy season and not qualify. It's been what 12 years on the trot now? We can't really complain. Hopefully some good may come out of it. Some sensible planning ahead by the club and perhaps some expectations reassesed by sections of what's turning into a very spoiled fanbase. It'll do us all good to see the other side of the coin for a change. And let's be honest having a season where we don't qualify for Europe or win a cup is hardly 'bad times'. It's all part of being a football fan. It can't be trophies and success year in year out. We've been the luckiest fans in the world, not that you'd know it sometimes.
  21. . And yet only one has won the Champions league with Chelsea. I get your point and all but I can't have a bad word said against RDM, he'll always be above critisicm in my eyes!
  22. Oh you're right there no doubt about it, but he's still spot on about JM, particularly about the fear factor.
  23. I suspect we will finish second in our CL group and then get knocked out in the first knockout stage. Sounds defeatist I know, but let's be honest...
