The club have again hardly covered themselves in glory this window but I guess this forum/thread/signing goes to prove you cant please everyone. I include myself in this. Moaning about not signing a defender all Summer. We finally sign a defender. Moaning he costs too much. Moan more that we need another defender. We sign another defender. Nope never seen him, but i doubt hes worth anything like 60m, even in todays market. At this stage i guess fees dont matter though i suppose. I would much rather have Luiz for £30m odd than Koulibaby for £50m. But then id much prefer to have had Stones for £40m last year. We're a strange club but thats part of the deal i suppose.

io dont think it was anywhere near £50 million in the end. i recall reading when the accounts were released it was closer to £40 million, makes buying him back for the figure quoted even stranger

This whole thing is bemusing. One thing i would say about David Luiz is that he was certainly a big game player, cant deny that.

Coco I seemed to stumble across a few this morning. They just rile me a little to be honest. It's my issue I guess, mardy sod I am. Far bigger things to be concerned with I suppose.

Perhaps I should have more pressing things to worry about and maybe I'm showing my age, but is anyone else bored by these?
