to be honest, i completely disagree with you lot. first of all, the youth team as already said is in no shape or form to provide us with a forward, so thats out of the question. 2ndly torres is 26 years old, drogba is 30, meaning torres has plenty of seasons left in him he is in no way "too old". 3rdly, i really dont think hes that established in the premiership, yes hes scored plenty of goals, but from watching him, you can tell he has so much more to offer, and chelsea would give him that leg up. I'd rather him over aguero, because aguero is going to need a season at the very least to get settled in. why wait when we can get a player better than him ready to play 100% from day one...and as for the investment into liverpool, lets be honest guys. this is liverpool we're talking about, world famous. they'll get the money and bounce back whether its from chelsea or not.
