I think it’s clear we need to stop believing Di Marzio, he’s been wrong about Dzeko and now it seems he’s wrong about £15 ml for Giroud.

I’m not sure Llorente can be deemed a flop at Spurs when he’s barely played.

We do need to start giving youth more of a chance but we need players who can be relied upon in this top four run in. We’d have been in a much better position if not for some of our sh*t results recently.

It’s possible you’re right but I still think there are question marks on Aubeymang. He’s been linked heavily with teams for years but he hasn’t moved until now. Why is that? Isn’t he 29 too?

If this is £15 million then I’m definitely hoping this happens. That would be a steal. Also for those saying we aren’t we going for Aubeymang but buying Arsenal’a backup striker. Remember we don’t need a first teamer we’re after someone who can be a backup and a starter when necessary.

I agree with all this. My only worry though what if we have a standout player like Liverpool did with Sterling or say Arsenal with Fabregas. Can we hang on to them when someone comes in with a mega money offer? I do think we are looking at a few years (at least) of been in the situation Arsenal have been in since 2005. It’s just can we manage it better than they did and bring in silverware? Many questions to ponder but the long term benefits could be great.

No we can register Barkley aswell as he wasn’t registered for the Europa League. If we had signed another player who was registered EL and we signed Giroud we’d only be able to register one. Its why United can play Sanchez in then Champions League too.

Deadline day we’ll either sign Giroud or go back in for Dzeko. That’s my two cents.

I think that’s one of the problems, it’s known we’re desperate so clubs can hold us to ransom. I still have everything crossed that we are signing Dzeko and that it’s a bit of a smoke screen with the talk that deal is off.

We’d be dumb AF to pay £35 mil. I like Giroud but he’s worth about £20 mil tops.

Probably just more media speculation to go with the rumours Conte is off. I do think Conte is off but I think we’ll just be linked with anyone for now.

I feel like we’re in a little bit of a “beggars can’t be choosers” scenario here. He does hold all the cards for sure.
