Well Bats is only gonna be leaving on loan by the sounds of it. I think we need him out on loan for next season too so we should look to do a deal like that. Regular game time will show us what he’s truly capable of. The longer he stays on the bench here the less he’s likely to make it.

We don’t know but what we do know is we’ve won two league titles since they left and I think people forget that. It’s not easy to win a league title.

If we’d done that though we may not have won a league title and league cup double in 14-15. We also won the title last season too so although we may have lost two talented youngsters who have turned out to be sh*t hot players we won trophies without them.

DZEKO DIFFICULTIES We told you earlier that Sky in Italy are reporting that Chelsea are closing on a deal for Emerson Palmieri and Edin Dzeko from Roma. However, one source has told us that Dzeko is proving more difficult because of his wages, and Chelsea are unsure whether to spend so much on a 31-year-old, taking the whole financial package into account. It has also been suggested that Chelsea’s preference is for West Ham's Marko Arnautovic.

Yeah I think get those two in would make this a good window for us. Instead of the laughing stock the media are making it out to be.

Chelsea have improved their offer in the last few hours but are trying to work out whether to include Michy Batshuayi on loan as part of the deal. Dzeko’s agent is expected in London between tonight and tomorrow while Emerson’s representatives are happy and are just waiting for the nod from the clubs. Roma are asking for 50m euros plus 10m in bonus.

Tbh I don't care what we end up paying aslong as we ge him, far too often decisions are made with resell value etc. End of the day we want to finish the season as strong as possible and we need quality. Of all the strikers we've been "linked" with Dzeko is easily the best of them. I think we'd be foolish not to get him in.
