Can't believe some of the stuff I am reading on here - including from posters who were overtly pro-Jackson. Guiu is better than Jackson in every way, other than the 'bull in a china shop' schtick - where they both are about level. To now pile in on the lad seems short sighted. Malouda didnt pass to Torres. And against sunderland - nobody passed to Guiu. The minimal touches he got will show that.

As i said after the liverpool game - i expected us to revert to type - and that has been the way it's gone. Poor against Forest, and poor against sunderland. It's not about young players. It's not about consistency. It's simply about a manger who makes us play slow and sideways, unprogressive and boring football - with the handbrake firmly on. We are so predictable to play against.

1) ask the residents if the cemetery if they object….if no response, then assume they agree. 2) make the new stadium transparent….. you can then still see the cathedral through it. Or simply paint the cathedral in the outside…. From that distance people would never know .

Yep - I was also vocal against TT by the end. I cant stand the slow and stagnant football he had us playing, and we continue to play under Fraudesca.

Less about forest being good - more about us being absolutely piss poor. Maresca screwed us that first half with his tactics.

Said it in the match thread. We didnt have a corner in the first half. Guiu won us one within the first 2 mins of being on the pitch. He was there in the mix causing problems, and distracting the defence for the opening goal. He won the free kick for the 2nd goal. The young lad changed the game. He is a player who looks to understand the striker role and plays it with intelligence. He fights and chases everything with energy. Genuinely think he looks as good as, if not better than Delap has for us (I like Delap as well). Multiple times the player that Jackson is.

We got in over 80k in 1935..... Safe standing is now allowed..... Just knock it all down and go back to how it was. Job done.

You agree that we played sh*t for 50% of the game. And yet wonder why some would be upset at Maresca for that? Turning up for half a game is not good enough. Maresca is the one that chooses the team. He is the one who sends them out playing the same slow and uninventive rubbish week in week out. If he is sending them out and knowingly asking htem to play in this slow ans insipid manner - then there is every right to be angry at him. As has been covered on here, any half decent team would have been ahead at half time against us today - and we would have been left with a mountain to climb. He is just lucky that Ange was more tragic than him.

They should have. A half decent team would have been 2v0 up against us in the first half - well before Guiu, James and Neto took the game by the scruff of the neck and won it for us. We were dire first half

Unsurprisingly - I don’t agree. This guy knows the offside rule, makes fantastic runs, can fight back against defenders and out muscle them, he wins headers, and doesn’t collect stupid cards game after game. He has a fantastic football brain and education from his time in Spain. He does share Jackson’s energy - but just comes with so many other benefits.
