  1. Neither have deserved it based on performances this season. Morgan Rogers has taken over Palmers title as best young player
  2. I like him already.... Hailuo_Video_make this man say the words _O_512395551901732869(1).mp4
  3. Changed again - but now all booked. Off to Sri Lanka.
  4. Ready and available. There might be some swearing. There might be no other words other than swearwords, and random farmyard animals.
  5. Cheers mate. It has been a messy couple of months. Initially 3 weeks of war, with the family evacuated, schools closed etc. Wife and kids got back 3 weeks ago, and it has been calm since, but there were more missiles on Monday. Lets see....
  6. 1) he clearly was the only and best option. No he wasnt. As he proved in getting multipel red cards for silly challenges, letting the team down at key moments. Any other player would have been better. 2)... but he was clearly better than Delap. Delap has played equivilent of 11 premier league games for us. Moving to a new club at a considerable step up, getting injured and playing for a team that generally has struggled to score. There is no clear evidence. 3)You in Vietnam Nam Mate?? No - the trip will be during the Eid break at the end of May, when the UAE shuts down for most of the week.... not actually booked as waiting for my lads new passport. Looking like we will now go to Phuket instead - more to do for kids. I lost the battle.
  7. It's not well agued though - trying to force a choice between a player who is not in our squad or 4 players who he has selected for some arbitary reason (I assume because he thinks they are not very good). The fact is that the choice is not limited to Jackson or 1 of Garnacho, Guiu, Delap ,Gittens. And therefore the entire point and question is moot.
  8. We don't just have a choice of 4 though. You are the one limiting to those players for some strange reason. For the avoidance of doubt, I would choose all 4 of them over Jackson. I would also choose any other youth player we have over Jackson. I would prefer to give a bench spot to someone who might at some stage prove good enough to play for chelsea, rather than give it to a player who has ALREADY proven, over 2 seasons playing consistently, that he is not good enough.
  9. 1) because they are all Chelsea players - and Jackson isnt. We have already got rid of him. 2) because 2 of them play in different positions, a position where we dont have anyone else (LW) Why are you focusing on those 4 players? All very odd. You ignore every other player we have available to us, or who we might purchase in the future - as a way to try and justify shoe horning a player, who has demonstrably, and consistently over 2 seasons, shown himself not to be good enough. The cartel is strong in this one.... If your answer is to chose Nicolas Jackson over these 4 players that you single out, then you are asking the wrong question.
  10. If affecting the game more than any of those 4 is the barometer, then we have multiple options. Choose another back up goalkeeper. Chose Jesse derry. Choose Shim Mhueka. Choose Reggie Walsh. Chose Maureen. Chose Life. Those players all might offer something that shows they have the ability to be a chelsea player at some point in the future... Jackson on the other hand has already proven he doesnt. If your answer is Nicolas Jackson. You are asking the wrong question.
  11. Linking Jackson to the fate of Garnacho, Guiu, Delap or Gittens is pointless. 2 of those (Garnacho and Gittens) play in different positions, 1 is a youngster (guiu) we purchased for 5mill Euro and who has hardly played at all, and the other (Delap) is adapting to his first season at Chelsea with a smidgen over only 1000 premier league minutes - About 11 games worth.... Jackson has been here for 2 seasons , and has played. And has been rubbish. He was rightly carted off and replaced by a better player (Joao Pedro). Now, whether or not Guiu or Delap will flourish and make it is debatable, but whatever happens to them, has no impact on Jackson being good enough to play for us. If you are answering that Jackson should replace Guiu or Delap in the squad, then you are asking the wrong question. The only question needed is this. In the 2 seasons he played for us, has Jackson demonstrably proven to be good enough to play for Chelsea? We all know the answer...so the the rest is irrelevent.
  12. Just so we are clear - 1) you admit he has been rubbish and is not good enough... 2) and yet your strategy is to bring back a player we have already deemed not good enough, got rid of, and replaced with Joao Pedro. lol... And people criticize our sporting directors!
  13. You also believe in flying pigs, the easter bunny and peace in the middle east.... What you believe is irrelevent. We have already seen Wacko here for 2 years. he is rubbish
  14. And yet, that IS the strategy that the guy was advocating for.... but I am the mad one....
  15. Dearest Val...some of us, a very small minority, the outcasts of society....still have this little thing (no...not THAT!)... called morals. ...either that, or I am too much of a coward and too pretty to go to prison if I were ever caught :D
  16. In my old job, many years ago, I was the Immigration Officer that stamped in Didier Drogba into the UK and activated his entry clearance when he signed for Chelsea. Got to have a chat, get his autograph and wished him all the best...it worked out well. (NOTE: I also did this for Adrian Mutu, but that didnt work out so well. And for that I apologise). Anyway, the point is I might have to dig out my old immigration contacts book, and pull some strings to get this jokers visa cancelled if he was ever to look close to coming back here.... NOTE TO THE POWERS THAT BE SHOULD THEY BE AUDITING THIS: I AM CLEARLY JOKING - I PROMISE NOT TO ABUSE MY NETWORK FOR CHELSEAS GAIN AND BENEFIT>
  17. I also advocated for Maureen the tea lady to start over Jackson. You dont seem to understand, that I think literally anybody is better than Jackson. If @Sconnie Blue is giving the answer 'Nicolas Jackson', then @Sconnie Blue has misunderstood the question. It's ok dude...keep on pining for a reject whom the club have already gotten rid of. I often do the same for Turbo Timo - but he was a lovely boy.
  18. Really? So because it didn't work out with 1 player who never recovered from a serious injury, you think we should persist with Jackson? What an odd position to take?
  19. Both of whom are significantly better footballers than Jackson. Not even close.
  20. Job done then....unless we think that we can get an upgrade on Pedro as starting 9.
  21. Delap has not replaced Jackson though. J Pedro has. We have already replaced Jackson. I heard the same - that Jacko was looking forward to his trip to Vietnam once the season ends. Unfortunatly, he was wide of the mark, and ended up in North Korea.... no surprise I guess.
  22. So...let me get this straight. Your strategy is: a) buy a player - in this case Jackson. b) try him for 2 seasons, where he proves to be a liability. c) decide he is clearly not good enough, and go all out to sign a new player (Joao Pedro) to replace him d) having decided he is not good enough, then try to get rid of him. e) loan him out - which see's him miss almost a full season of football - with him hardly playing, and when he does, getting a few sporadic appearances as a back up player in a farmers league f) having failed to play regularly in that farmers league, then decide that maybe a miracle has happened, and actually, maybe he IS good enough after all - so we decide to bring him back.... ... I mean, come on dude. There are long shots, and then there are long shots..... with a "strategy" like the one you are advocating set out above, it is little wonder Winstanley and Stewart remain in employment. ....edit: and then you have the brazen audacity to advocate for Sanchez to be kept. I am sorry, but a poster who advocates for Jackson and Sanchez being good enough to play for us, seriously lacks credibility.
  23. Banned officially for 4 years.....
  24. Joao Pedro is...aka the guy we have already replaced Jackson with.
  25. I am not sure who you are talking/responding to. But I am not sure anyone is advocating to replace Jackson with Emegha. In fact, Jackson is not even in our squad, and therefore does not need to be replaced in any way shape or form. If anything, we have ALREADY replaced Jackson with Joao Pedro. If anything, it is Emegha to replace Guiu, who will almost certainly go on loan or be sold, and then there is a question of if we replace Delap - which I think is likely.
