Yeah I'm with you there. I'll be so happy if we get Falcao, I've lost faith in torres. Face it...he isn't the same player that he was at liverpool and he probably won't be like that again.

Yeah it's too bad cuz he is a true talent. There is just too much competition for him in the wings though. Moses has played well each time he's stepped on so I think the Marin wait will continue for while.

Yeah agreed. We have plenty of players, and if we have a lot on loan then we just need to cope with what we have. Buying another player will just cause more problems.

What would you suggest then if we don't have mikel, essien or lampard. Start romeu? or bertrand in a midfield spot like we did in the champions league final? I don't know about that.

I really hope that won't be the lineup with oscar mata and hazard in it. Who cares about the league cup honestly. it means close to nothing. we need to focus on the champs league and the premier. those 3 should rest.

we don't have any huge midfielders besides mikel and essien anyway and if he is out along with lampard we don't have much else to choose from besides marin moses and ramires who are all short and not defensive minded. We would have to switch to something different unless we wanna start youth players. Ramires outside would be fine, he has played there before, as he has the speed, if not u could put moses there. I admit we are lacking in the defensive mid position. put I think we could cope without buying another player.

Well I guess athletico are trying to put a new contract together for him so hopefully we'll find out sometime soon if he will stay with athletico or leave.

We don't need another midfielder. If we want we could even change our formation to a 4-4-2 especially if we get falcao. then we could go... cech Ivanovic Cahill Luiz Cole........or terry in a CB pos. Ramires Mata Oscar Hazard Falcao Torres Plus we have marin and moses who could slide into a MF position. Both are talented and can play. I don't deny fellaini as a great player, but 30 mil?? That's way too high.

Yes I understand Roman is our biggest creditor and he takes on most of the costs by himself, but no business is completely financially risk free. And I agree that in today's modern world of football you're best chance of winning is spending lavishly. I just admire arsenal for being willing to not pay their players over the top wages. I understand that is why Theo Walcott will probably leave them for more cash and why we are attracting the star players like Hazard and Oscar. Do I think we spend too much? Yes, absolutely. But I realize it's all about money these days and how it has totally reshaped the culture of football. It's a shame. In regards to Falcao, all I can say is he will be worth the money, he is a stud. And it will be interesting to see what happens in January as we will not be the only ones in the pursuit.

Very true. Unless he flops like torres. But i know that probably won't happen as Falcao is a lot less mentally fragile. I am so excited for January to see everything happen!!!

This is all so rough. The ivanovic call, yes he did take him down, but to me it seemed like ashley young dived a bit too.

Yeah we are fine right now, but every year we lose money and dive deeper into debt. The champions league and sponsorships don't cover everything. And one day Roman will leave the club and we could be stuck in a tremendous hole unless we are able to find good ownership again. Things are going great for us now, but we will reach a point where things will eventually start to get worse financially. Arsenal is just as big a club as us except they don't have a billionaire for an owner and I do admire their transfer policy as they will be financially stable for years to come. I'm not saying we shouldn't spend on quality players I just wish we would cut back a little bit that is all because no club is safe from liquidation. I'm not trying to hate, I'm just trying to be realistic, we've spent more money than any club so far besides PSG. And I will never deny that falcao isn't an amazing talent because he is probably the best number 9 in the world right now and i can see him doing wonders for this club.

I'm sure this type of thing goes on in other leagues, whether it is as bad idk, but I guess we just should move on and let the FA look into it. Big game later this week so we need to stay focused. oh and i still get chills watching mata's free kick. It couldn't have been more perfect.

This is now his third season with us was what i was getting at. Also we are spending way too much. If we do get falcao for 45 million or whatever I hope that is the end of the spending for a while. I would not want this club to go down in flames financially in years to come.
