Just to let you know that Lewy didn't score from open play for national team in over 1000 min. He manage to score two penalties against San Marino. Last gol scored from open play was in the euros against Greeks. I know, national team can't be compared to BVB style of p;ay etc, however, taking the fact that in that national team, are his two club team mates, makes you think a little.

I think I'm the only one here who thinks like that, so here it goes. I would love to see that we buy absolutely no new player this preseason at all. I would really like to see what JM can do with all the fire power we have, including the ones which are there and those who are/where on loan. I would love to see Lukaku back, I would Love to see Josh back and both actually getting time on the pitch when it matters, no curling cup business, but proper games. I really don't want Torres to go, I do believe that he, after a really good team set up, can bang a lot of goals and I'm 100% sure JM can set this team the way it will guaranty, him, or any other striker to hit 20 each. Also, we have such a great capabilities from midfield, never mind, from any formation, any player on the pitch (except Petr unfortunately in most cases) can score with no sweat at all. I think what we need, is a TEAM, team which work for each other on and off the pitch. We need to be determine to win every game, and it shouldn't bother us who is scoring, as long as they are scoring, and not letting anything in. That's why I was so happy when JM was appointed, as he, like no one else, can ensure just that. So in short, don't buy, there is no need, make sure that what we have can reach their full potential, if that's achieved, we can bag every trophy we are playing for this season. I know, it's my humble view on this, as I really don't want to read or listen to all those pathetic headlines in papers tv or whatever, saying, CFC got a cup cos they f**king bought an army of mercenaries, who only look for quick buck, without beeing part of the BLUES.
