  1. We need a striker as prolific as Brazilian Ronaldo was. Falcao has been good this season, but nothing like this. Check these stats out! Years Team Apps†(Gls)†1993–1994 Cruzeiro 34 (34) 1994–1996 PSV 46 (42) 1996–1997 Barcelona 37 (34) 1997–2002 Inter Milan 68 (49) 2002–2007 Real Madrid 127 (83) 2007–2008 AC Milan 20 (9) 2009–2011 Corinthians 52 (29) Total 384 (280) These are Falcao's stats. Years Team Apps†(Gls)†1999–2001 Lanceros 8 (1) 2005–2009 River Plate 90 (34) 2009–2011 Porto 51 (41) Not sure there will ever be a forward as prolific as Ronaldo was. Incredible.
  2. I feel bad for Jose, as it's a hard ask at Madrid. You don't win games and the fans are on your back, but he can only do so much with the players he has. If Mourinho was managing the "Galactagos" Madrid team of old, then they would most likely be unstoppable, but this team is 1/4 of what that team was. To think that Madrid went from (fat) Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Beckham, Zidane, Hierro, Salgado, Casillas, Raul, Figo, Makelele, Morientes to the current team. No one in the current team bar C.Ronaldo, would be fit to lace the Galactagos team's boots.
  3. I don't it matters anyway, because Madrid will go out next round. They look very vulnerable and don't know how to use possession to their advantage. They rely on Ronaldo to make runs because no one else seems to. Neither Ozil or Higuain made much of an impact in the two legs, especially considering they are supposed to be 2 of their most dangerous players.
  4. Pre match interview with Mourinho on taking Utd job. http://metro.co.uk/2013/03/05/jose-mourinho-i-dont-think-ill-ever-be-manchester-united-manager-3526608/

  6. I think people are looking too much into it. Look how quickly he got off the pitch after the match, he obviously didn't want to hang around for obvious reasons, Man Utd fans being one, seeing how a few were abusing him when he was walking off the field. He knew he'd be catching the flack from the opposition fans for that result. He spoke truthfully about the performance. Anyone could see that Madrid were not good at all. They really are a very mediocre team without Ronaldo, and in general. For Man Utd to go down to 10 men and still create more chances, that would piss me off as well if I was the manager. Real Madrid will go out next round, depending on who they draw. If they draw Dortmund, Munich, Juve or Milan, they will be heading out the exit door. The best team did lose tonight, but sh*t happens. There is controversy in the Champion's League every year, so this is no different.
  7. Jose was right. He was probably pissed off that Madrid did not do better over the 2 legs.
  8. Man Utd were better tonight, but that's nor here nor there, they lost...END OF!!
  9. Disgraceful tackle. How is that a fair challenge? The foot went straight into his chest, that is bad! Worse than a two footed tackle. He could of fractured his chest. He should of gone for a header, not a foot.
  10. Mourinho getting sh*t from the scumbag Utd supporters! HAHA Go on, Jose! He f**king showed them.
  11. Real Madrid will go out next round. I don't see the fuss about them at all. Modric and Ronaldo have been there best players this game, and Modric is apparently someone who isn't doing any good there.
  12. Sorry, that was a red card! You put your foot up that high and you deserve a red. Nani was fouling all night.
  13. Is Ronaldo shooting deliberately?
  14. If Real Madrid knew what to do with the ball, they could have had another couple goals by now.
  15. Is this bad that we actually want another English side to lose?
  16. Man U will win, Real don't even know what to do with the ball when they get it.
  17. Man Utd are too fortunate to concede a goal. The balls been put in twice now from Real and nothing happened.
  18. Awful tackle. He should of had a yellow earlier in the night though, so a red is fair tbh.
  19. I feel bad for Mourinho though. You know that he'll start getting stick from the Spanish media tomorrow. It's annoying when people complain about Chelsea's tactics last year, yet Man Utd will do a similar thing and nothing will be said unfortunately.
  20. They keep talking about these amazing Madrid players, but the majority of their team is above average at best. Ronaldo and Alonso are probably their 2 best players. The pundits make it sound like their players have god like abilities. I think the Italians and Germans are the ones to beat this year. Juventus are looking fairly solid, as well as Milan and Munich.
  21. Maybe I'm the only one, but this is a boring match so far.
  22. Man Utd will probably win it this year.
  23. Bayern will be the team to beat this year, pretty much like last year.
  24. I still don't think Madrid are as strong as previous seasons.
