  1. The True Blues Consortium ideas would be amazing if that could be included. I'd definitely be up for buying a share in that. However, with the CPO members already owning the pitch and Chelsea FC name, would the big money men be ready to let the fans have a 10% golden share? That's a lot of power for them to give over.
  2. I would be surprised if they don't. Along with a discussion of who he would like brought in. Same for Emma Hayes. The two of them have handled the media with ease and are key to bridge the transition to a new era.
  3. It's always going to be hard to match where Chelsea have been over the last 10 years as we've been to the very top of the game winning everything. This is the case whether Roman had stayed or not. As has been stated it would be strange for any buyer to bid in one of the most competitive sports club sales in history, only to just let their investment drop. A club based in the best part of London, the only European and World Champions in the Capital. If anything Chelsea are on the up and have yet to reach the full commercial potential.
  4. Chelsea v Palace - FA Cup Semi Final (16/17 April) Chelsea Women v TBC - Women's FA Cup Semi Final (17 April) Chelsea U18 v Forrest - FA Youth Cup Semi Final (4 April) Chelsea lining up the FA Cup Treble again.
  5. TT has brought back that culture of winning. The "International Treble" is in the bag, and lost by a whisker against Liverpool for his fourth trophy. Real Madrid was always the glamour tie we seemed to miss out on in the Champions League, and just like a London bus, 2 have come along in quick succession. We're very much in with a chance to go all the way, and Tuchel is right when he says no one will want to face us. If we beat Real and get City, the pressure will be very much on them and not us as they try to win their first Champions League. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
  6. Prefer an easier draw of course, that's logical. However, Chelsea have beaten 5 of those 7 possible opponents in European finals, so nothing at all to fear. Tuchel, fill up the 7 seater and let's go!
  7. Sky says it goes ahead. Mind you, could be wrong as they also have the wrong score in their sub-heading!
  8. How would that work? Would be a weird scenario but then anything is possible these days
  9. If we make it through and get Juve in the next round, I know just the bus for the team:
  10. Is there any list of these "200 bidders"? Obviously some of them will be trying to keep quiet, but these things do tend to leak.
  11. I like your thinking. Chelsea have always done well when there's turmoil, usually with a manager sacking etc. However with this turbo charged turmoil, it could happen!
  12. How did he keep his job after that? Was he even prosecuted?
  13. European Champions badge on right sleeve. Super Cup holders on the left (where Hyuandai used to be). These would fly off the shelves.
  14. Would be nice to have a successful bid from buyers that are Chelsea fans. However, I just read Sir Martin Broughton's net worth is $200,000!!! Could be that valuation is way off the mark, but something don't add up - literally. https://networthpost.org/net-worth/martin-broughton-net-worth/
  15. 200 groups interested to buy Chelsea! 200!! I feel left out. Maybe it really is time for "The Shed End Group" to put in a bid? Where's the application form........
  16. Those fools at Hyundai need to re-think their plans. Imagine the advert they could put together with Tuchel driving one of their people carriers with some of the team in the back. Azpilicueta map reading with Rudiger asking from the back; "Are we nearly there yet?"
  17. A we all know, there is a pattern of Chelsea thriving in chaos. I could see us somehow stumbling our way to a Champions League semi final. Then who knows?
  18. Not sure either. Could be he gets some influence into who wins the bid if he co-operates, even if he personally gets no money from it. It's moving so quick that it's hard to know what is going on to be honest. This is all new ground for everyone.
  19. As stated earlier by erskblue, we need a giant Tuchel banner with the "enough shirts and team bus" quote to show our appreciation.
  20. "Thomas Tuchel open to ‘message for peace’ on front of Chelsea shirts" https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/mar/11/thomas-tuchel-chelsea-message-for-peace-players-concerned-roman-abramovich-sanctions-
  21. There's talk of a 9 points deduction. That would move us down to same level as Manu, but still with a game in hand 😆
  22. That's not a bad idea.
  23. "As long as we have enough shirts and the bus to drive to the games, we will be there and we will compete hard." Thomas Tuchel on BBC Radio 5 Live. Definitely the right man for the job.
