Greetings Nunez - I may be mistaken but you could be our first Greek based poster (at least first Greek poster who acually posts)

I am glad to find a place to talk about Chelsea! In Greece this is difficult.

I am from Thessaloniki and i am a fan of Aris too.

Chelsea played against Aris in 1970 the year we won Real Madrid in Karaiskaki and won the cup!

This is a picture of the match programme i think!

Aah, Chelsea v Aris Salonika, remember it well because Marvin Hinton scored one of his very rare goals for us, cracker it was if I remember right too.

Is there any videos of this game ? Especially in Stamford Bridge!

The first leg was played in Kaytatzogleio and not in the "Kleanthis Vikelidis" the stadium of Aris.

There were 55,000 fans! A special record for Thessaloniki. Since then, there is no team to have so many fans in a game. It was something fantastic here!

That brings back memories! We drew in the first leg 1-1, and John Dempsey got sent off. According to Dave Sexton, Aris got a corner, and their centre-forward squeezed Dempsey's b*llocks - Demps responded by smashing him one with his fist! Alecos Alexiadis scored for Aris, with Ian Hutchinson getting Chelsea's goal.

I was at the 2nd leg at the Bridge, a great game which we won 5-1 - two goals each for Ian Hutchinson and Johnny Hollins, and as Geezer says, a rare goal for Marvin Hinton. Alecos Alexiadis scored again for Aris.

I've only got a couple of clips of that game, but I just uploaded them to YouTube - here you go...

I'm not sure, but I very much doubt it - I think that DVD will only show the final & replay. I'm pretty sure there were no cameras at Chelsea's European home games against CSKA & Bruges - not even sure about the semi-final(s) against Man.City (maybe just as well, those games were so boring!)

As for the away games, there may be footage around from the various countries (Greece, Bulgaria & Belgium), but nothing was shown in the UK.
