I had truly believed my "informant" that Guus would be returning in December after a delay to sort out his Russian agreement.

For what it is worth, my informant is a Chelsea fan whose info has been nearly 100% right in the past.

Well, after the success we have had, and the delight Guus showed at the weekend, I think its fair to say most people just thought this was gonna "get done" one way or another.
