Shed End Fantasy League 25/26
Well done to all that took part, Congratulations to Niall and Haribo FC being crowned champions and good luck with the Strasbourg job. Personally, I was useless. My worst ever performance since I started playing Fantasy League ☹️

Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
For the first time under the current Owners' stewardship, I am already looking forward to the new season. I have been so disenchanted with the entire Club, but especially the devoid of ability & personality, Head Coaches that the DOF's have chosen thus far. Although, I must admit to actually warming to Pochetinho, which I didn't think was possible. I am very optimistic with Alonso. He did a brilliant job at Leverkusen and did an excellent job too (70% win rate) at Real Madrid, until the Owners chose their toxic bunch of Superstars over Alonso's tactics and discipline. I think he will be given the players he wants and needs, with the colossal list of junk shown the exit door. This will be the open admission by the Club, that the "project" or "process" undertaken by the DOF's had indeed failed. I very much hope that they will both be gone by 1st August. Most of all though, I am delighted that Alonso has agreed (chosen) to come to Chelsea, despite Liverpool's interest and before they finally made up their mind, which I think was coming. I would love to see us batter them at Anfield next season, and see Xabi jumping up and down on the touchline 😃😃

Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*
I must admit that I am glad (delighted is too strong a word) that Rosenior has been sacked. But the bigger issue tonight, is that Stewart & Winstanley must also pay, by losing their jobs, for four abject years of mis-management, shockingly poor recruitment, consistent failure in critical decision making and a complete lack of interest in anybody's opinion but their own. Unless these two imposters are also sacked, they will again recruit the wrong Manager/Coach and fail yet again with player recruitment this Summer, all the while convincing the Owners to "follow the process" and give them more time. STEWART & WINSTANLEY MUST GO - NOW
-
Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*
I would get rid of Rosenior immediately. He has no track record, no gravitas, no respect from the squad, little tactical nouse and his pathetic pressers are driving me mad. That said, I still think that this entire debacle lays at the feet of Stewart and Winstanley. They are trying to turn Chelsea into Brighton, except that we are not nearly that good. Their shocking recruitment of players, coaching staff and Managers is frightening. Surely, they cannot be allowed to continue?? I would really love to hear/know what the owners think of these idiots' performance in their time at the Club. In every Blue Chip company, staff have an annual performance review, so you would expect that Blueco do a similar thing with all Senior Management. I would love Boehly and or Egbhali to be really honest and tell us the Fans what they really think. They never will though, as S&W have been 100% derelict in their duties from day one and the Owners have let them continue un-opposed and here we are today. If this continues, this time next year, we will be where Spurs are now or worse.

Chelsea Shirt 25/26
I apologise in advance for not having read the entire thread of this post, but does anyone have any idea if the Club are going to appoint a Front of Shirt sponsor before the start of the Season. I have seen mocked up photos of a Qatar Airlines shirts but there doesn't seem to be anything definite in the pipeline yet. Surely we must be prime advertisers now as World Club Champions ??

Maresca out? (Feb)
I do agree that this should probably be an "everyone out" post. As posted elsewhere on here, we are a shambles of a Club from top to bottom. Sacking Maresca will be of no use, unless Stewart and Winstanley are also gone with him, thus, not available to select the next incoming YES man. I actually believe that Stewart & Winstanley are the REAL problem in the Club. Neither Clearlake or Blueco. have the faintest idea how to run a football club that doesn't have the letters NFL attached. But to be fair they have never professed to know, and therefore, totally rely on the Imposters Stewart & Winstanley. Think of the "process", the shocking signings, the poor sales/loans, the failed coaches and the sleep inducing football......It is all down to these two cretins. 🤬🤬

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
Lavia, comes back 🤔 For how long, 35-40 minutes ???

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 14th February 25 20:00 GMT
This is precisely how I feel. Just sick to the back teeth of everything going on at Chelsea at present, I've had 55 years of this sh*t. The Club is an utter shambles, from Top to Bottom 😪
-
Maresca out? (Feb)
So glad you weren't banned (never thought you would be) and glad you are back. After that pathetic defeat on Friday, now twice away to Brighton in seven days, after they had previously been beaten by Everton and shipped SEVEN goals against Forest, I am so sick of the shocking Management of our Club. We are now only going one way, the rest of this Season will be a write off. The Club is a complete shambles from top to bottom and I can neither afford or be arsed to spend the money required to follow this sh*t. No leadership on or off the pitch, the decent players we do have (Palmer, Enzo Caicedo) are becoming dispirited, and on Friday their was evidence of them arguing among themselves, which is NOT a good sign. #MarescaOut, #StewartOut, #WinstanleyOut Hey-ho just normal times at Chelsea FC 🙄🙄
-
Maresca out? (Feb)
@theGreenBaronIt is great to hear from you, I remember that tournament well and that it was a privilege to play at Cobham and to have a pint in the Plough pub next door. I am sure you weren't called the Green Baron then ?? 😉 With regards to Maresca, I think that even I could probably win the European Conference League with our Squad. Top 4 would be a decent finish and will probably buy him another season, but I personally would get rid now. Just gut feeling, 55 years of supporting Chelsea and seeing so many obviously poor managers come and go and my belief that he is a Championship manager at very best, he is not tactically astute and his treatment of some of our fringe players was shocking and has I believe got the players still in the Squad backs up.
-
Maresca out? (Feb)
I agree with the general opinion on here, Maresca is a Championship level Manager who is so far out of his depth he needs underwater beathing apparatus. We were warned by the Leicester fans what to expect and how right they were. Not sure he has ever had a Plan A let alone a plan B, and his poor tactics and use of capable players, mostly out of position, proved he really dones not know what he is doing. I would get rid NOW, but, and it is a big but, any decent Manager or coach that comes into Chelsea, with a strong mind, will of his own and game plan that does not comply 100% with the The Imposters, Stewart & Winstanley, is immediately doomed to failure. (TT, Poch, even Potter ??) Surely somebody in the higher echelons of this great Club does read these type of posts. We cannot all be wrong and we have endured TWO years of this pathetic, cowardly backwards slide of our Club since they arrived. Just remember Brighton shipped SEVEN goals against Forest, yet we still did not have enough to beat them, Ipswich, Fulham or Palace. Get rid of Stewart And Winstanley and a decent experienced DOF will both attract and hire the right man for the job.

Stewart & Winstanley
Stewart & Winstanley are clearly a pair of fu**ing Imposters. They know nothing about football and have made some of the most ridiculous ne heinous decisions in the Club's history. Firstly, Why are there TWO of them?? This clearly says, neither man was up to the job on his own (as it is proven). Are they Boehly's men or Egbahli's men. With the impending Ownership battle, we may just get lucky and the winning owner, like us, does not rate these Clowns and gets rid. I have NEVER heard either of them say a word to the Fans, either to explain a decision or to support a Coach/Manager/Player, surely this is a bit odd ??? (keeping themselves in neutral territory so that they cannot be blamed when the sh*t hits the fan (as it keeps on doing) Ultimately, a change of ownership will relieve Chelsea of these two clowns and I guarantee that nobody else in the Premier League will offer them a job !!

Jhon Duran
If there is any prospect of getting rid of Disasi, together with Felix (who was bought simply as an "earner" not a tactical addition) in return for a forward (note, I do not yet call him a Striker) that actually knows where the back of the net is, I would jump at the chance.

Sancho for me, belatedly !!

MOTM vs Ipswich (A) (PL)
WTF, who voted for Disasi ??? Caicedo was just about the only one who performed

Ipswich Town vs Chelsea (PL) Monday 30th Dec 24 19:45 GMT
As my late Dad used to say almost weekly, "Just when you think that Chelsea cannot let you down any further - they will surprise you " Leicester fans too have been warning us that this would happen with Maresca. Have a look at what happened to them post Christmas, it is very worrying. He has started playing players out of position, Disasi at RB is a f**king disaster, we miss Lavia badly, Colwill had a shocker as did Nkunku, whose mind seems elsewhere (Barcelona ??) The defence is just not good enough at the top level, Midfield got over-run last night and frankly, if Palmer has an off night, we offer very little. Ipswich wanted and needed it more than we did, Maresca, by telling everyone we are not title challengers, got the excuses for these three shocking results out there nice and early, so he must have seen a drop in levels at training. But, similar to his various predecessors, he doesn't not seem to have a Plan B or C that works.

MOTM vs Brentford (H) (PL)
Remarkably, I have found myself voting for Sanchez 😃 I never thought that would happen.

MOTM vs Nottingham Forest (H) (PL)
Sanchez for me !! Some proper World Class saves, although I still get worried when he has the ball at his feet 😬

Victor Osimhen
I feel the same Bro' would MUCH rather have Toney. Osimhen has previously said that Chelsea was not his choice. He earns ridiculous money which will not fit with Chelsea's new lower wage limits, bonuses etc. He comes across as someone that wants thing all his own way, another Lukaku maybe ???
-
Raheem Sterling signs for Chelsea
The problem is Bro', that Sterling is on £350k per week and NOBODY in their right mind, will take him on, unless we are paying ALL or most of those wages. We need players off the payroll and unfortunately, Sterling is unlikely to be one of them.

I actually think that KDH is actually going to be very good when he settles into the pace of the Prem.

Chelsea vs Manchester City (PL) Sun 18th August 24 16:30 GMT
After yesterday's game, albeit a loss, there were definite sign of shape, that was missing much of last season. I am quietly optimistic now for things on the pitch, but will avoid talking about the Owners, DOF's, shocking signings, lack of a Shirt sponsor (nobody wants us for ONE year) and the abandoned plans to upgrade Stamford Bridge, for the very real fear of getting high blood pressure, and this, from a point of historically very low blood pressure. Some observations Sanchez is definitely NOT good enough. Same errors and lack of control as last season. Slightly worrying that Maresca picked his as his starter because of his distribution. Jackson, 😖same old, same old, errors, misses, can't time his run, how many f*cking more times? Guiu is a better bet - long term Enzo, gave the ball away so much that he should have had a sky blue shirt on. Definitely NOT Captain material and on this performance, should be dropped in favour of Gallagher who looked excellent alongside Caicedo at the tail end of last Season or Dewsbury Hall who will get more game time under Maresca and looked decent. Lavia looked excellent, why was he taken off ?? Nkunku needs a run of minutes, not to be taken off after less than an hour. Need a REAL goalscorer like Osimhen NOW !!! Players that really do need to leave ASAP are Sterling, Broja, Badiashile, Kepa, Mudryk (loan) Lukaku, David Fofana, Betinelli and Sanchez.

Shed End Fantasy League 24/25
Sorry chaps I have been away for a while. Everyone who was in the Shed End Premier League last season, will have been automatically joined to the League (unless they opt out) I apologise that I had not been around to post an invite to the "old" league, and that a new one had to be set up. I will now join that too. SORRY !!
