The word will never be used by the Media, but does this mean that United have been 'snubbed' by Tevez? Surely not!?! :D

Macari on Talksport:

When players want to leave a team like Manchester United, who in my opinion are one of the biggest teams in the world, there must be something very wrong with the game. It can only be for the pay packet and nothing else.

Now that has to be right up there among the most arrogant, bitter and most warped statements ever uttered by a supposedly professional commentator. C.Ronaldo, for instance, may be an obnoxious, arrogant, supercilious slimeball, but I do believe he genuinely wanted to play for Real. And Tevez wants to feel he's appreciated by the manager as well as the fans.

Macari: what a prize f**king tosser.

Funny, I had a dream last week that we'd signed Tevez. That was the good part. The other, verging on the nightmarish element of the dream was that on the very same day, we also announced that we'd signed ... Ibrahimovic

:D never happen. were the only club ever to be snubbed. if we do sign johnson i cant wait to see how they twist it into a good thing by the dippers. oh and lofty, macari is an untter c**t of a man. hes so biased its pathetic to listen to him.

I guess if he is off then its either City or Spain/Italy. Personally, I hope its the latter. I'd like to believe we could get him, as he is a player I admire (even more, now) but I just dont think it will happen for us.

what a load of crap. Is it not possible that Tevez felt slighted by all the "they wont sign him" b.s. that has been going on for months? Ronaldo and Beckham did not merely leave for the pay packet, though im sure it helped

I'd love to have him at Chelsea, quality player. Sadly I think he will go to City.

Well, I didnt think it would be their attitude, but everyone over at RedCafe is lining up to take shots at Tevez over leaving. "He must not love United as much as he says, he's chasing after money, etc etc" so I guess what Macari says is hardly unique.

How about an ounce of appreciation for a player who helped win you four major trophies in two years? I can understand feeling burned and all, but after they dragged their feet on getting him for long, and looked like they werent gonna bother before Ronaldo left, how could a player not feel slighted?

Exactly. I think a lot of them were preparing for this moment, bigging up Berbatoss and calling him a misunderstood genius while slating Tevez for "running around like a headless chicken."

They did the same thing with Ronaldo. Very angry, fickle, spoilt fans.

funny enough, most of the ones i have seen were okay with Ronaldo going, probably becuase of the fee and they knew it was coming, whereas they are pissed because Tevez looked to be a guy who wanted to stay, badly.

But I agree. How can you not just be appreciative of what they guy has done? For 5m a year, they got one of the premier talents in the world, and won two leagues, a CL, and a league cup with his help.

However, if he really is going to Man City, I can see why they might be pissed off. Anywhere but a rival. I still think he will wind up in Italy
