Now JT is hurt too
I hope it's one of those fake injuries, like the ones ManU's players always seem to get around internationals. They should rearrange the schedule so that you have a whole block of time after the season is over for internationals. I never understood having them in the middle of the club season, at random intervals. I think it would get more people behind their national team and be beneficial for team building if you could have a concentrated international month or something.

Ladies? football
I thought that was Jonny Evans for a second.

Chelsea vs Man Utd (Prem Home) 08/11/09 1600 KO
I've got a pic. Evans deserved straight red or at least two yellows for that and the Carvalho takedown. Amazing that ManU fans and staff can say the ref was bent with a straight face. I thought Fletcher definitely fouled Ashley, and there was no makeup call there. It was not a pretty game at all, but the result was deserved.

Life can be good, even on a Monday morning
I know that Fiorentina is my favorite team for the next few weeks. :(

Stamford Bridge naming rights.....
By doing a sportsdirect@St. James' Park kind of thing. So everybody loses. What is really sad is when it changes with each new season due to them hooking up with a failing company or whoring it out to a different company every year. Then again, Man U proudly advertises the company that ruined the economy on the front of their shirt.

Chelsea vs Blackburn (24/10/09) 1730 KO
Joe Cole brought sexy (football) back. Even in the first half when we were only 1-0 up, it was probably the most entertaining Chelsea played this whole season. I think this midfield is the way forward, Joe at the tip, Lamps, Essien, and Ballack. I'm rooting for Liverpoo to get drubbed 4-0 tomorrow.

Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid (CL) 21/10/09 1945 Kick Off
I admit, I was cursing Kalou for the first half hour. I even composed a chant for him, called "Kalou is not very good." But I was pleased after his double, even though Drogba probably would've scored 4 or 5 with the same chances. So I modified the chant. If you've seen the Flight of the Conchords, you know how it goes. Carragher...is not very good Reina...is not very good Benayoun...is not very good But Frank Lampard is very very good! Bass solo...bass solo over Glen Johnson...is not very good Ryan Babel...is not very good Benitez...is not very good But John Terry is very very good!

Ballon D'or

I can't f**king believe it. But I would've put money on them to score the winner after they equalised...at about the 7th minute of extra time. So, I'm not too disappointed.

drogba wants to take rio ferdinand on at basketball
If he had grown up in the States or concentrated on basketball, Drogs would probably be a great NBA player. He has great footwork and coordination, combined with strength and bulk. Some of the best basketball players played football growing up, like Hakeem Olajuwon and Steve Nash. Funny that all of his "tricks" are things I can do, though.

Feel for the City fan, he had the better sense of humour. Cheer up, lad, at least you've won the pie-eating contest.

Chelsea Banned From Signing Players
I thought this was a windup at first. Absolutely ludicrous.

Milan derby
Sneider looked great today in blue...too bad not in Chelsea blue. Also, Ibra for Etoo + 40 mil looks like the steal of the summer. Ibra will become Barca's Berbatov.
-
Chelsea signing Aguero
I guess the fact that we got drawn with Atletico kills this deal dead. No way do they give up their best player to a team in the same CL group.
-
Joleon Lescott.
So what is their back line going to look like? Richards, Toure, Lescott, and Bridge? I thought Richard Dunne was the captain? Oh well, I'd have made Ireland the captain in the first place. City are collecting quite a bunch of "interesting" looking fellows. You've got a Klingon (Lescott), hobbit (SWP), orc (Tevez), Uruk-hai (Adebayor), Admiral Ackbar (Kompany), and whatever Stephen Ireland is.

MOTM vs Fulham
Drogba for the goal and assist and working his arse off. Ashley I thought looked very involved today in good buildup moves.

Yet another reason to hate Scousers.
I googled this dead chicken incident, and ROFLMAO. My guess is that they will boycott the show 30 Rock next. "A grown man crying about a chicken and a baby? I thought this was a comedy show!"

Van der Vaart confirms he'll leave Real Madrid
I have thought all along that either vdV, Sneijder, or Higuain should be our plan B if Aguero or Ribery don't come off. I hope we are just waiting it out so Real get desperate to sell before the window closes.

MOTM vs Sunderland (A)
Had a glass of vinho verde to salute Deco. :D

Jesus, it's 6-0 now. Wait, 6-1, consolation goal from Saha. B) :D You know Arsenal can beat anyone on their day, but they can also be beaten by anyone. I do expect them to whomp Celtic on Tuesday, though.

Chelsea vs Hull City (Premiership - Home 15/08/09 1245 KO)
Thanks, Drogba, for saving the day. I have to admit, I wasn't even going to watch this game because I wasn't sure if ESPN had it on, and because it was at 4:45 am my time. But I woke up with a painful leg spasm just in time to watch Stephen C*nt score. Bad omen. I stuck around to see Drogba score that brilliant free kick, though. and I just had a feeling that we would come back.

Matic signs Chelsea contract
If he's fast, we could call him Greased Lightning. He's automatic He's systematic He's hyyyyydro-matic

FA Community Shield vs Man Utd (09 Aug 1500 KO)
Did a little spying on the enemy, and as you can guess, they think that Evra was "punched in the face" by Ballack. What Ballack did in basketball would be called a "pick" and it is completely legal. In fact, I remember a United game last year where Vidic did the exact same thing on a set piece, freeing Berbatov to score the winning goal. Didn't really understand why the Chelsea fans were booing Evra, though. If anything, we should thank him for gifting us the goal and missing that penalty! :D

FA Community Shield vs Man Utd (09 Aug 1500 KO)
That would've been sweet, but we saw what happens when you let silly vendettas get in the way of proper strategy (Evra FAIL). I was surprised Rooney didn't take a pen. Good exciting game, pleased that Carlo won one trophy already.
