one of my favourite games of all time, having been there.

don't recall a better league atmosphere at home in the past15 years or so.

That was Petit's best game for us and when we most needed it. Shame he was injured for a lot of his time here, I thought he was an excellent player.

Come on now Gem watch it again and try to be impartial. Clearly the worst offence in that incident was Desailly for demanding Gerrard be punished for that challenge.

That was a phenominal atmosphere - even in the back row of the East Upper which was where I ended up getting a ticket for. Whoever had the ticket beside me had decided to cash in and sell his ticket to a scouser. He told me he had paid something like £400 for the ticket - he alsted until Hyppia's opener which he celebrated - the stewards did hima favour by kicking him out!!
